Chapter 105 Aunt Margaret, Come Quick
Chapter 105 Aunt Margaret, Come Quick
"Ahem, I'm sorry. I'm in the wrong room," Margaret said apologetically.
Then, she waved her hand and carefully shut the door behind her before leaving.
Margaret quickly left.
Not long after Margaret left, Mr. Wayne pushed the door open and said respectfully to the person inside, "Sir, have you seen Miss Stephanie?"
It turned out that there was a French window in this room, thus one could see what was going on in the banquet from this room.
Moreover, this window was a one-way glass where one could only see through it from the inside. One could not see the room from the outside. "Yes." Master Sherman responded coldly, "She doesn't look like it."
That person didn't exude the slightest presence at all.
"But she has the necklace on her. I've seen it on her before," Mr. Wayne thought for a moment and said.
Master Sherman's pupils suddenly dilated. He suddenly thought of something and said, "Help me investigate someone."
"Who is it?"
"The girl who almost came in here."
"Okay, I'll go check the surveillance cameras right now." Mr. Wayne nodded.
"As for Stephanie..." Master Sherman thought for a moment. "Help her with whatever she needs."
"Yes, Sir!" Mr. Wayne responded. It seemed like Master Sherman had no intention of meeting Stephanie in the future.
"Margaret, why don't you come over to the Night Dream Bar?" Elvis suggested. Margaret was dumbfounded for a moment. She then frowned slightly.
"What are you doing at the Night Dream Bar? Are you breaking little girls' hearts again?"
"Hey, hey, hey, what are you talking about? With a face like mine, they're the one seducing me, okay?" Elvis said, "Forget it, let's not talk about this. Come here quickly. Your man is drunk like a dead pig." "What do you mean 'my man'?"
"My uncle. Dear Aunt Margaret, do come here quickly," Elvis said grumpily.
Margaret thought of the night when she told Charleston off. If she went there now, would it not be... "If he is drunk, send him back. Don't you have hands and feet? You are a man, yet you still ask for my help." "Oh, you'll know why when you come over." Elvis let out a cry and then hung up the phone.
Margaret had no idea what was going on, but when she heard Elvis' words, she had no choice but to accept her fate and go over.
Soon, she reached the Night Dream Bar.
As soon as Margaret saw the scene in front of her, the corner of her lips twitched.
"What the hell are you all doing?" Margaret said with a frown.
There were several bruises on Elvis' face.
Charleston was lying on the sofa. He seemed to have passed out. Even though this man was drunk, he still looked so attractive.
At first glance, anyone would be attracted by his charisma.
"How did you get all the wounds on your face?" Margaret looked at Elvis' face.
"I was beaten by my uncle," Elvis said helplessly. Oh my god, all he had to put food on the table was that face of his!
Margaret almost couldn't stop herself from breaking into a laugh, "What's going on? Why did he do that for no reason?"
"Whoever gets close to my uncle when he is drunk, will get beaten," Elvis said helplessly.
"Then, why did you call me over?" Margaret's eyes widened.
This guy sure knew how to deceive her. Did he want her to get beaten as well?
"Of course, you are different. You are my future aunt." Elvis said, "Help your man up."
Margaret glared at him, but when she saw that Charleston was in such a state, she finally sighed and walked to Charleston's side.
She was worried that Charleston would hit her; she moved with much vigilance and carefulness.
However, Charleston did not respond at all when she walked over.
"I told you, didn't I?" Elvis sighed.
Margaret looked at the unconscious Charleston and frowned, "How much did you make him drink? He totally blacked out."
When Elvis heard this, he immediately straightened his three fingers and swore, "I swear from the bottom of my heart. My uncle may seem strong, but three glasses are more than enough to get him drunk. As long as he downs three glasses, no matter what kind of alcohol it is, he will get drunk."
"Then, why did he drink?" Margaret frowned again as she looked at Charleston.
It was quite adorable that he'd get drunk from just three glasses of booze.
"It was all because of you, Aunt Margaret," Elvis muttered in his heart.
Elvis glanced at Margaret grumpily.
However, because he was timid, he did not dare to say it out loud.
"Let's not get into that. The most important thing now is to send my uncle back first. I'll leave this matter to you then." Elvis looked at Margaret seriously.
"Me?" Margaret said as she widened her eyes.
"Please." Elvis blinked with his puppy eyes.
This rascal.
Margaret reluctantly helped Charleston up and walked out of the bar.
"What did you two talk about?" Margaret asked curiously.
After drinking, Charleston's body felt like a huge rock. Margaret staggered with each step she took while holding him up.
She started panting uncontrollably after taking a few steps.
"It's a secret. I can't tell you." Elvis coughed lightly.
Margaret really had no strength left. She glared at Elvis and said, "Come here and help me."
"No, I'm sure I'll get beaten." Elvis refused immediately.
Margaret had no choice but to pat Charleston on the shoulder and said, "Can you behave yourself?"
Margaret knew that Charleston was drunk, so he probably did not hear what others were saying. However, to her surprise, Charleston really started to move. Margaret was shocked at what she was seeing.
She stared at Charleston who stood up consciously. Although he was still a little shaky, he indeed was standing on his two feet.
"You are amazing, Aunt Margaret." Elvis sighed in awe.
"Shut up, who's your Aunt?" Margaret beamed.
When she led Charleston back to the car, Larry was already sitting in the driver's seat.
He heaved a sigh of relief when he saw Margaret.
"I'll leave Mr. Limbaugh here," Margaret said, and was about to leave.
Larry quickly said, "No, Miss Margaret, come with us too."
Otherwise, it would be troublesome when they had to get off the car.
Margaret wanted to refuse, but when she saw how drunk Charleston was, she finally sighed in defeat and got in the car.
The car moved slowly. Though Margaret was sitting in front, her gaze involuntarily made its way to the back of the car. As she gazed at Charleston, she couldn't help but feel emotionally confused.
