Chapter 336 Rushing to the Airport

Chen Hao waited anxiously outside the ward.

Not long after, he saw Mr. Qin and Miracle Doctor Hu walking out.

However, what surprised Chen Hao this time was that Miracle Doctor Hu seemed rather respectful toward Mr. Qin and even came close to supporting Mr. Qin as they walked out. Chen Hao asked, "So how was it?"

Mr. Qin said, "Hehe, almost done. Go in and have a look yourself!"

Chen Hao walked in and saw that Su Ziyue's complexion was much better and her face looked rosier.

"Chen Hao, don't worry. Grandfather Qin's medical skills are really powerful!"

Su Ziyue said so as she knew that Chen Hao was worried.

"That's great!"

Chen Hao heaved a sigh of relief.

Only then was he at ease.

"Mr. Qin, thank you so much!"

Chen Hao nodded at Qin Yifan and expressed his gratitude.

Since he met him, Mr. Qin had helped him out numerous times. Although he was rather annoyed by this old man at the start, Chen Hao had grown to sincerely appreciate his gestures by now. "No big deal, grandson. If there is nothing else, should we make a move?"

Qin Yifan was referring to the matter of bringing him back to his hometown in Chengdu.

As the matter of going to Chengdu was brought up, Chen Hao's expression turned dull.

I still have something else that is yet to be resolved. Tongxin misunderstood me and refused to let me explain as she is still mad. What can I do?

"Give me a bit more time, I still have another matter to resolve. After I am done, we can leave!"

With that, Chen Hao left the room so that Su Ziyue could rest and headed outside to make a phone call.

However, despite the numerous calls, Su Tongxin hung up each and every time.

Sigh!

"Tongxin, pick up. Why are you not picking up? Who knows, he might have changed his mind!"

Meanwhile, at the Su residence.

Su Mengmeng and the rest sat together and were watching television while having some snacks. Su Mengmeng was in the midst of eating some chips when she saw Su Tongxin angrily hanging up on the phone. And so, she gave her a piece of advice.

"I am not going to answer!"

Su Tongxin threw her phone aside.

Ding dong! Just as she was in a fit of pique, the doorbell to her house rang.

Su Tongxin jumped up in her seat.

Right, since my parents are not home, who else could be dropping by my house now?

It must be Chen Hao.

No matter how furious Su Tongxin was, she still wanted to meet Chen Hao.

However, Su Mengmeng was the one that ended up opening the door.

Su Mengmeng opened the door and snorted. "Hmph! Good that you know-Eh? Why are you here?" Upon seeing who it was, Su Mengmeng's expression turned sour.

"Is Miss Su Tongxin home? There is something I wish to talk to her about!"

A crisp and melodious voice of a girl could be heard from outside the door.

The girl was none other than Qin Ya.

"What are you doing here?"

Naturally, Su Tongxin did not have a favorable impression of Qin Ya.

The only feeling she had toward Qin Ya was hatred.

Even if Chen Hao had no relationship with her, why did she put her arms around him? And why must she get engaged with him?

Qin Ya said, "Miss Su Tongxin, can we talk in private?"

Qin Ya felt unsettled when she got home earlier today.

Thus, she decided to look for Su Tongxin and clear things up.

"Whatever you wanted to talk to me about, you can say it now!"

Su Tongxin said as the both of them arrived next to a nearby park.

Qin Ya said, "I'll get straight to the point. From my perspective, I would see it as a great thing if you broke up with Chen Hao. I am not going to hide anything from you. In fact, I do like Chen Hao a lot and even chased after him before!"

Su Tongxin turned her head to the side and kept quiet.

Qin Ya continued saying, "Precisely because I like him thus I could tell how loyal he is toward you. I'm being serious here. Since the start, he has never had a change of heart. No matter how nice and loving I was to him, he dismissed all of it. I'm guessing that he would be very upset and saddened if the two of you broke up because of our misunderstanding. He is someone who is very kind and loves to help out others. This time around, he was really just helping me out as a friend! He did not cheat on you at all!"

Qin Ya lifted her head and looked at Su Tongxin.

Then, she started telling Su Tongxin everything that happened between herself and Chen Hao all this while.

Su Tongxin had not expected that so many things happened to Chen Hao this whole time.

To be honest, Su Tongxin still felt rather jealous that Chen Hao helped Qin Ya out so many times.

However, after some thoughts on it, Chen Hao did not do anything wrong.

Su Tongxin then asked, "I get what you mean. You're saying that you have been accompanying Chen Hao through many experiences whereas I was not by Chen Hao's side all this while, is that it?"

"I don't mean it that way. However, now that you have brought it up, think about it. What have you done for Chen Hao since you got together with him? Whenever he was faced with problems, where were you? Qin Ya had no other motives but merely wanted to express her inner thoughts and bring everything onto the table.

These two sentences rendered Su Tongxin speechless.

Right, I only thought about dating Chen Hao and being together for a long time. However, I never thought about actually doing something for him.

He has always been helping me out and taking care of me.

Yet, I have not given anything to him. This time around when I got back, I even misunderstood him without having a clear picture of what happened.

He must be very busy yet I am constantly being a distraction.

Su Tongxin returned home after her conversation with Qin Ya.

Throughout the entire afternoon, Su Tongxin stayed solemnly in her room and did not talk to any of her friends at all.

Due to that, Su Mengmeng and the rest of them were worried sick.

"What's wrong with Tongxin? Did that girl say something to her? After all, they conversed for more than an hour so something must have happened!"

Su Mengmeng continued eating her chips and said, "Yes, she has been that way since she got back!"

"Hmph, let's go ask her. If there was something that happened, we must go and settle things out with Qin Ya!"

Her dorm mates all arrived at the door of Su Tongxin's room.

Su Mengmeng said worryingly, "Tongxin, open the door. Open the door for us!"

Soon after, Su Tongxin opened the door.

Everyone was confused when they took a look inside.

It was because Su Tongxin had already packed up her luggage.

Wu Wenwen asked, "Tongxin, what are you doing? We just got back less than a day, what are you up to?"

Su Tongxin said, "I know but let's return to Hong Kong!"

"What? Right now?"

Everyone was in shock. "But Tongxin, what about Chen Hao? It wasn't easy for you to get back to meet and talk to him. I know there is some misunderstanding between you two but I feel that Chen Hao is not the kind of bastard to do such things!"

With tears in her eyes, Su Tongxin said, "I know that Chen Hao wouldn't do that but I just want to return to Hong Kong!"

Throughout the afternoon, Su Tongxin tossed and turned while being deep in thought.

Exactly, I did not actually grudge Chen Hao at all. I only wanted him to come and coax me to make me happy. It's as simple as that.

On the other hand, whatever that Qin Ya brought up earlier had crossed Su Tongxin's mind as well.

I can't do anything for Chen Hao at all. If I stay by his side, I would only be a burden to him. Therefore, Su Tongxin decided that she was going to return to Hong Kong and work hard to prove herself. Only then would the relationship be stable and strong.

Her close friends did not say anything else. They packed their bags in a hurry and left with Su Tongxin.

Su Mengmeng was the only odd one out as she secretly took out her phone and sent Chen Hao a message. "Hurry up and head to the airport! Su Tongxin is leaving!"
