“I don't mind helping you save this young lady, but you must promise me something in return,” KingSergiu continued.

“What is it, King Sergiu? As long as it is something within my power, I will do everything I can to helpyou out!” Jonathan said.

“The Holy Chest and the Sinai Bible only exist because of me. The Sinai Bible isn't really a cause forconcern, as all it does is record everything that happens in the world. The Holy Chest, however, issomething that shouldn't even exist, as it will disrupt the order created by the Heavens. Now thatsomeone greedy like Gabriel has the Holy Chest, one can only imagine the horrible things he will dowith it. My soul will be punished for the sins he commits with the Holy Chest, so you must get it back,retrieve the raw stone, and destroy the Holy Chest once and for all,” King Sergiu replied.

Of course, Jonathan was planning on doing that even if King Sergiu didn't ask him to.

“I'll do it. You have my word, King Sergiu!” Jonathan promised without any hesitation.

King Sergiu let out a chuckle in response. Being without a physical form, he could only communicatewith Jonathan inside his head.

“You are a just man, so I have faith that you will keep your promise. Actually, it isn't hard to save thisyoung lady. Of course, being a mere fragment of my thoughts, I can only tell you what you need to do.It is you who will be the one to save her.”

“Please tell me what I need to do, King Sergiu.”

“That Lunar Pendant of yours is a great treasure filled with an abundance of spiritual energy. However,it has a consciousness of its own and acknowledges you as its master. While it may protect you fromdanger, it will not do the same for the young lady. Therefore, you cannot just hold it against her bodyand expect it to work as it did with you.”

King Sergiu paused briefly before continuing, “The only way for you to save her is to have sex with her.The Lunar Pendant will save her if you make her yours. Because it can recognize your energy, thisyoung lady will need to have your energy inside her for this to work.”

Jonathan froze in shock when he heard that.

What the... Are you serious? Well, I don't dislike this idea, though... I mean, I do have to save her life!

While he was contemplating whether he should go through with it, King Sergiu urged him impatiently,“Need I remind you that I'm in your head, you little sh*t? I know everything you're thinking about! Quitdilly-dallying and get it over with! This young lady doesn't have much time left! Put the Lunar Pendantinto her mouth and do the deed with her!”

Feeling a little embarrassed at being called out, Jonathan stammered, “I-I'm not sure that's a goodidea, King Sergiu... It feels like I'm taking advantage of her.”

“Look, I don't have the time or energy to be arguing with you about this. I'll go rest for a bit while youtake care of business here. I'll teach you two how to get back quickly once you're done saving her,”King Sergiu said before leaving his head.

Jonathan felt a little excited as he lowered his gaze and looked at Lailah, who was lying unconscious inhis arms.

She had on a white tee and a pair of jeans, which highlighted her amazing figure. Man, she has a prettyface and is loaded in all the right places! Screw it! I have no choice but to go through with this! This isto save her life, so I'm doing this in the name of justice!

Jonathan clenched his teeth and began undressing Lailah.

It only took him a minute to get all of her clothes off. He then proceeded to have sexual intercourse withher.

After what seemed like forever, Lailah slowly regained consciousness. The first thing she felt waswaves of euphoria surging toward her brain, followed by icy-cold energy.

Lailah's eyes shot wide open all of a sudden. Anger and embarrassment filled her face when she sawwhat was going on.

Jonathan felt incredibly awkward when their eyes met.

What am I supposed to do now? Do I keep going or not?

“I'm sorry! This isn't what it looks like!” Jonathan exclaimed as he pinned her down.

As Lailah was still weak, there wasn't much she could do to resist.

The next thing they knew, Jonathan had climaxed and ejaculated inside of her.

About ten minutes later, Lailah was able to fully recover her spiritual energy with help from the LunarPendant.

Her hair was slightly messy, and her face was still flushed when the two of them put their clothes backon.

At that very moment, Lailah had gone from being a young lady to a woman.

Jonathan then explained everything to her, but all she did was stare at him with a doubtful expression.

Their conversation was interrupted when a green cloud appeared in front of them and took the form ofa tiny person. King Sergiu had compressed the magnetic field of his thought fragment and materializeda miniature version of himself before them.

He turned to look at Lailah as he said, “Jonathan is telling the truth, young lady. The Lunar Pendantwouldn't have been able to supply you with spiritual energy unless it acknowledged you as its master.Your spiritual energy was completely drained, so he had to save you or you would've died. He neededto get parts of you two in each other's bodies, and having sexual intercourse was the only way to goabout it.”

Lailah shot King Sergiu a confused glare. “Who are you?”

“This is a fragment of King Sergiu's thoughts. I wouldn't have been able to save your life without hisguidance,” Jonathan explained.

Being a woman of logic and reason, Lailah understood that Jonathan wasn't at fault for what he did.Not wanting to dwell on the subject, she got to her feet and asked, “So, what should we do now?”

“This thought fragment will soon fade away, but it can still do you two one final favor. I can create aportal that will take you two out of here, but I am running low on mana right now. You will need to useyour Lunar Pendant, Jonathan. However, doing so will overload it with spiritual energy and cause it tobreak. In other words, you two will be able to return, but that Lunar Pendant will be rendered uselessafter that,” King Sergiu replied.

Man, I really don't want to part with this Lunar Pendant, but I can't let Gabriel beat me to completing themission in Lostaria! Screw it! I'll only be completing a dual-level mission with the Lunar Pendantanyway, so I might as well go get my revenge on Gabriel instead! I won't be able to take back the HolyChest and get my revenge once he completes the mission! Besides, Lailah needs the Sinai Bible, sowe need to get it back before Gabriel hands it over to headquarters!

After giving it some thought, Jonathan said, “No problem!”

Lailah flashed him a grateful look when she heard that. “Thank you so much!”

Jonathan felt a little embarrassed when he looked at her and recalled what they had done earlier.

I have to admit, Lailah sure has an amazing figure! I haven't had a woman for over six months, so thatfelt really good! Still, it feels weird having her thank me after I had sex with her!

The helicopter Gabriel was in landed in the yard outside Isaac's mansion.

Isaac bowed respectfully to Gabriel after opening the door for him, but Gabriel ignored him and madehis way into Isaac's mansion with the treasures in his hands.

With three days left to complete the mission, he decided to take his time researching the Holy Chestand the Sinai Bible before heading over to Lostaria.

The beautiful morning sun was shining brightly in the sky.

Gabriel's mood was as great as the weather, but Isaac felt really conflicted as he walked behind him.

Gabriel was so powerful that Isaac had no choice but to obey him.

After escorting him to the mansion door with a few other bodyguards, Isaac stepped forward to helpopen the door for him.

Gabriel's jaw dropped the moment he stepped into the mansion, and his eyes were filled with shockand horror as though he had just seen a ghost.

Raul, one of Isaac's most powerful bodyguards, was standing respectfully at the side while Jonathanand Lailah were sitting on the couch.

“Hello, Gabriel! Small world we live in, huh? I bet you didn't expect to see me so soon, did you?”Jonathan asked with a smug grin.

Gabriel had disbelief written all over his face as he pointed at Jonathan and Lailah. “N-No... T-This isimpossible! You two should be dead by now!”

“I remember you saying no one could save me, Gabriel. Well, let's see if anyone can save you now!”Jonathan said with a sneer as he and Lailah got up from the couch.

The next thing Gabriel knew, Jonathan was charging toward him at lightning speed.

Although Gabriel had a really powerful spiritual energy, it was useless against someone of Jonathan'scaliber.

In other words, Gabriel was completely defenseless against Jonathan's attacks.

“This is payback for what you did to me!” Jonathan said as he raised his hand and slapped Gabrieltwice across the face.

Smack! Smack!

He hit him so hard that Gabriel coughed up a mouthful of bloody teeth on the spot.

After that, Jonathan snatched the black cloth containing the Holy Chest and the Sinai Bible over andtossed it in Lailah's direction.

“Here, Lailah! Catch!”

Lailah stepped forward, caught the Holy Chest, and set it on the table before retrieving the Sinai Bibleinside.

Feeling excited that she finally obtained the Sinai Bible, she hugged it tightly with tears of joy in hereyes.

Gabriel's eyes lit up when he saw that. “I can help you check what happened in the past, Lailah! Youmustn't let Jonathan kill me!”

Lailah simply shot Gabriel a look of disgust in response.

“I didn't say I'd kill you, Gabriel. Why are you so scared of me? Now, get on your knees!” Jonathan saidwith a smile as he kicked Gabriel in the back of his knee.

Gabriel lost his balance and fell hard on his knees.

Jonathan then grabbed him by the hair and said in the most contemptuous tone possible, “What goesaround comes around, eh, Gabriel? I don't think I can give you a chance this time, though.”

Gabriel clenched his teeth and glared at Jonathan with bloodshot eyes. As Jonathan was the one whoput him through all that humiliation, he hated Jonathan to the bone.

Gabriel ignored him completely and threatened Lailah, “Hey, Lailah! I'll kill myself if you don't stop himfrom humiliating me! You won't be able to replace out about the past even if you have the Sinai Bible!”

Gabriel knew how much she wanted to know about the past, so he cleverly used it against her.

Sure enough, Lailah began to waver and asked Jonathan, “Hey, Jonathan... Do you think we shouldspare him?”

Instead of answering her question, Jonathan simply let go of Gabriel and told him, “Well played, youson of a b*tch. Very well. I'll spare your life if you can help Lailah see the past.”

Gabriel was still on his knees when he glared at Jonathan and muttered through clenched teeth, “Idon't trust you!”
