The first place that Johanna headed to was not her home but the company.

On the taxi, Johanna revealed to Jonathan that her family manufactured car engines. The name of thecompany was Falcon Corporation.

When Jonathan heard the name, he was shocked. “Wow, your family founded Falcon engines?”

An expression of pride appeared on Johanna's face. She replied, “Yes!”

Jonathan could not help but exclaim, “Amazing!”

Falcon Corporation created the best car engines in the nation currently. It even appeared to be able tosurpass engines produced by other countries in the future. Furthermore, many citizens started toapprove of Falcon Corporation's engines in Chanaea. The brand was starting to create a name foritself.

The quality of local car engines was generally considered bad in the country, but Falcon enginesboosted the reputation of local car engines. Falcon Corporation had signed long-term collaborationswith many local car manufacturers. Some companies which had joint ventures even had strategicpartnerships with them.

Furthermore, a famous global brand even wanted to purchase Falcon Corporation at an astronomicalprice wanting to gain insight into how to create their engines.

However, Falcon Corporation rejected them.

The wealth of Falcon Corporation reached tens of billions of dollars in Anglandurn currency.

Yet, contrary to public expectations, Falcon Corporation was not listed in the stock market.

As the Falcon Corporation representative said, the company's founders did not understand the stockmarket and only knew how to create car engines.

Thus, they would continue to focus on creating car engines.

Considering that the two of them were in a taxi and that their conversation could be overheard by thedriver, Jonathan did not ask Johanna why she was being chased. Thus, the two of them fell silent.

The morning sun shone through the car windows.

The taxi stopped in front of Falcon Corporation.

Jonathan paid for the fare and the two people got off the taxi.

Falcon Corporation was in a building that had thirty- six levels. The name of the building was FalconBuilding.

The production and assembly line as well as the design, research, and market developmentdepartments were located in the building. In short, all of the company's core departments were in there.Thus, Falcon Corporation was able to keep its industrial and trade secrets watertight. Therepresentative of Falcon Corporation had spent a lot of money to hire professional bodyguards. These

professionals checked the surveillance cameras and identified anyone suspicious easily.

Furthermore, there were security guards patrolling the building.

The security guards were all experienced too. Some of them were retired special forces soldiers andmercenaries.

The security at Falcon Corporation was very tight, and the place was very safe.

After all, Falcon Corporation's competitors were big companies and corporations. Thus, it was not likelyfor them to hire professionals. Basically, they were not ancient families specializing in martial arts.

In the meantime, Jonathan and Johanna entered the Falcon Building.

When the security guard saw Johanna, he respectfully greeted her before letting them in.

Johanna had regained her composure. She placidly nodded and accepted his greetings.

Jonathan looked around curiously.

Johanna brought Jonathan to the elevator and went up to the highest floor of the building.

“Where are we going?” Jonathan asked Johanna.

Johanna replied, “I'm bringing you to meet my younger sister. She's the chairman of the company.”

“Why? She's not a beautiful lady anyway.”

Johanna was rendered speechless. A moment later, she said, “You have saved me and helped FalconCorporation greatly. My sister will be grateful to you.”

Jonathan immediately said, “You aren't going to renege on your promise, are you?”

Johanna froze and did not expect that he would remember her promise to give him a kiss. She said, “Iam a married woman. Why are you...”

Jonathan laughed and replied, “Why don't you give it to me now? I will leave after that as I havesomething on later.” Thereafter, he cornered Johanna against the walls of the elevator.

His strong arms encircled Johanna.

The posture was one that made women's hearts pound furiously.

It was one where he placed his palms against the wall and trapped her between his arms. She wouldbe unable to leave and could only let him do what he wanted. A kiss would be the icing on the cake.

Johanna was frightened by Jonathan's sudden action.

“Don't mess around. We are in the company. There are surveillance cameras in the elevator,” Johannaexclaimed as she panicked.

Jonathan chuckled and said, “Why should I be scared? You have promised me! I am just getting myreward!”

“When my husband sees this, he will kill you!” Johanna said angrily.

“Haha!” Jonathan chuckled before letting Johanna go. “I'm joking. Don't take it to heart,” he said.

Johanna realized that Jonathan was teasing her. She was annoyed but found it funny at the same time.

They soon arrived at the thirty-sixth level.

The two of them walked out of the elevator.

On the highest floor, there was a luxurious office. Gold-rimmed carpeting was placed on the floor.

Johanna led Jonathan into the office.

Johanna knocked on the door and a woman's pleasant voice soon sounded. “Please come in!”

Pushing open the door, Johanna led Jonathan in.

There was a ceiling-to-floor window in the office, and there were many advanced technologicalgadgets. The interior design was lavish.

There was a carpet on the floor and a big screen where one could watch movies and play games.

On the other end of the room was a gym.

“Oh my!”

Jonathan only gave a quick glance across the room and he could not help but sigh in envy. Rich peoplespend money extravagantly!

However, what attracted Jonathan the most was the lady sitting at the desk in the office.

She was Johanna's younger sister and the chairman of Falcon Corporation.

She appeared to be around twenty-five years old and wore a purple suit.

Her hair was styled in an elegant updo, and she looked capable and mature.

Her figure was great and was as attractive as Johanna's. Furthermore, she was beautiful just likeJohanna.

Johanna was full of mature charm. The matureness could be seen in her beautiful figure, and she wasas appealing as a juicy peach on a hot day. When men saw her, they yearned to push her beneaththem.

However, the lady had a strong aura. When men saw her, they would feel inferior in front of her anddare not pursue her.

When the lady saw Johanna, she immediately stood up and walked over with a look of concern on herface. “Johanna! You're back! I called you multiple times but you never picked up!”

The lady clasped Johanna's hands tightly.

With lingering fear in her heart, Johanna said, “Joanne, I almost could not meet you. If this man had notsaved me, I would have been killed by assassins.” She pointed at Jonathan and said, “Joanne, let meintroduce you to the man who saved me. His name is Jonathan Lawson.”

Thereafter, Johanna introduced Jonathan to her younger sister. “This is my younger sister, JoanneWilkinson.”

Jonathan subconsciously straightened his spine when he saw Joanne. He looked all serious andgreeted, “Hello, Ms. Joanne.”

Joanne stretched out a hand to him. “Hello, Mr. Lawson. Thank you for your help.”

Jonathan reached out a hand and shook hers.

He was a man, so when women did not take the initiative to shake his hand, he would not initiate it. Itwas a matter of respect.

Although he was brash at times, he would be respectful when the occasion called for it.

However, he had no qualms about behaving as he wished around Johanna.

More importantly, the first time he met Johanna, she had an intimate encounter with him. Thus, hebehaved as he wished around her.

Jonathan quickly let go of Joanne's hand after she shook his. It was a fleeting handshake, and heacted with the utmost respect.

Joanne's hand was too cold.

“What's wrong?” Joanne asked when she noticed the peculiar grimace on Jonathan's face.

Jonathan was confused. Did Joanne not know that her hand was icy-cold?

Hence, he replied, “Your hand is very cold.”

“It can't be,” Johanna said. “My sister has a weak and cold body from birth, but I don't think it is thatcold!” Thereafter she held Joanne's hand and continued to speak. “It's not very cold. It's just slightlycolder than the average person's hand.”

What? How can that be?

Her hand was so cold that he could not take it.

Jonathan shook his head and asked Joanne, “Can I hold your hand again?”

Before Joanne could reply, Johanna's expression turned strange. She exclaimed, “Don't takeadvantage of my sister, Jonathan!”

Jonathan said seriously, “I don't have the intention to do so. I just replace it weird.”

“What do you mean by weird? I've grown up with my sister. No one said that she was weird. You saidthat she was weird when you have only met her once. You're the one with a problem.”

Jonathan could not help but laugh bitterly. He said, “All right.” He paused before saying, “There'snothing for me to do here. I'll take my leave.”

“Please wait!” A frightened look appeared on Joanne's face. She appeared to have thought ofsomething.

Jonathan turned and saw Joanne's expression. He knew that there must have been something wrongwith her body.

Joanne stretched out her fair and pale hand.

Without hesitation, Jonathan grabbed her hand.

He held onto it and did not let go immediately.

In an instant, an icy-cold feeling rushed into Jonathan's veins.

Jonathan resisted the urge to let go of her hand. He stared at Joanne in shock.

While Catherine was naturally cold-blooded, her symptoms were normal and considered common.Jonathan did not replace anything out of the ordinary with her.

However, something was different about Joanne's hand.

“Hey! Why aren't you letting go, Jonathan?” Johanna asked.

Joanne said, “Johanna, don't hurry him.” She stared at Jonathan seriously before looking at his hand.

At that moment, something weird happened.

A thin layer of frost appeared on Jonathan's hand.

“Oh, my god!” Jonathan yelled and could not help but let go of Joanne's hand. He could not stand thecoldness emitting from Joanne's hand.

He hurriedly shook his hand to regain blood circulation.

Soon after, the layer of frost disappeared.

Joanne and Johanna were shocked.

It was only then that Johanna realized that Jonathan was telling the truth. He had no intention of takingadvantage of Joanne.

“Why is it like this?” Johanna asked Jonathan.

Jonathan did not understand what was going on either. He replied, “You should ask Ms. Joanne thisquestion.”
