Skylar's feet were firmly fixed to the ground. Jonathan put his arms around Skylar and gave a hard pull.

He was performing a move called Reversing Willow.

In an instant, the ground cracked open, and Jonathan managed to pull Skylar out of the ground. Skylarwas still standing erect like a statue. Jonathan carried Skylar up and hit his waist with his knee.

Jonathan's expression turned grim.

Knowing that there was no other way out, he did not say anything else.

There was nothing left to say. He would have to fight it out. Jonathan charged forward with lightningspeed and sent a punch at Skylar's head.

Skylar took one step back before throwing a punch of his too.

When both their punches met, the impact sent Skylar moving three steps back. Jonathan movedforward and threw three consecutive punches.

After that, Skylar retreated another ten steps back.

The vitality in Jonathan's body was running wild, but Jonathan could not care less. He continued tounleash the Dragon Claw Grab. His movement was very swift and accurate. Just as Skylar was about to kill him, Jonathan suddenly brandished a fire talisman. The fire talismanflew toward Skylar, but Skylar had no regard for it. He swung his arm in order to slash the flame awayfrom him.

To that, Jonathan explained, “It's simple. The cells in Skylar's body were not strong enough, and theyhad already reached their ultimate limits like full-blown balloons. At that time, one slight touch and an

explosion will happen. That fire talisman burned the cells of his arm and started a chain reaction. That'swhy Skylar's body exploded.”

Realization dawned upon Torrence. “How do you know that will happen?”

Jonathan smiled nonchalantly and pointed at his brain. “That's because I'm intelligent!”

Torrence also chuckled. Although Jonathan was being very cocky right now, Torrence could not denythat Jonathan was indeed very clever. He then changed the topic. “When you were fighting with Skylar,Clarissa passed away. She wanted us to take good care of Clarabelle.”

Sadness filled Jonathan's heart. “That goes without saying.” He paused for a while before hecontinued, “Let me check on Clarabelle first.”

Torrence nodded.

In truth, Jonathan had no idea where Clarabelle was. However, he focused his attention and detected aweak life force. Finally, he found a gigantic egg at the end of Demon Dragon.

It was huge. Jonathan had never seen an egg of that size.

The egg was a meter long and half a meter wide.

The shell was yellow in color and covered with many spots.

It was the legendary dragon egg.

Jonathan carried the egg up, and it was still covered with a sticky substance. It was quite heavy, andJonathan carried it with some difficulty. He had spent too much energy in the fight earlier on.

Jonathan went back to Torrence with the egg. “Yeverie is still waiting for me outside. There's no way Ican take Clarabelle and you with me together.”

“My injuries are quite severe and will take a month to recover.”

Jonathan chuckled. “You have become a burden to me again. Aren't you worried that I will chuck youhere and let you die alone?”

To that, Torrence smiled faintly and replied, “That has never crossed my mind.”
