Prologue

Natasha White Kozlov is the only daughter of Anabella (Kore) Kozlov and Demian (Hades) White.

Her mother is Russian, while her father is from the United States, both met by chance when she was doing a year of exchange between countries for her career at the University.

They fall in love and Anabella decides to leave behind everything that binds her to her country to stay by the side of the intriguing man who steals her breath with his green eyes. That includes her position as the heiress of one of the most powerful oil companies in Russia. Demian meanwhile is the son and soon to be President of Black Ravens a motorcycle club in California.

His mother is a beautiful woman of almost six feet tall with shiny golden hair, gray eyes, pale skin and a supermodel’s body, while his father is about six feet tall, with black hair, green eyes and tattoos covering the golden skin of his arms.

Her father possessed the sweetest smile, and the most sincere eyes in the world.

Or at least, that’s what Natasha remembered about him.

Without knowing exactly why, when Natasha is eight years old, her mother packs her and her daughter’s bags. And without a second thought she returns to her homeland, leaving behind the man she swore she loved more than her life. The only thing Tasha knows during the years she was growing up is that every time she tried to contact her father he avoided her like the plague.

When Tasha turns sixteen she makes one last attempt to see her father again by going to the United States to look for him, there she realizes how her “father” has another woman by his side, a boy almost her age and a little boy he calls his children, when she returns to Russia she swears to her mother never to look for the man who begat her and who forgot her as if she were less than an old rag.

Two years later, Tasha’s world collapses when in a car accident she loses her entire family, her mother, her grandparents, her loved ones disappear in the blink of an eye. With no one else to take care of her until she is twenty-one, (because Tasha refuses to reveal her father’s name so she lies that she never knew him), the government takes it upon themselves to place her in foster homes.

Tasha doesn’t know what to do, with the family bank accounts frozen, the properties shut down, and the company in the hands of the shareholder members there seems to be nothing she can do to keep her future from slipping through her fingers.

Three years she spends on the cold streets of Russia where Tasha learns to be strong, fast, feared, fearless, confident, smart, where she hardens her heart, believes she is ready to overcome any challenge fate puts in front of her.

But on the eve of her twenty-first birthday, a letter from her family’s lawyer turns her life upside down. Now she has to travel back to the state where she was born, replace the man she hates, so she can read the will her mother stipulated before she died.

Only Tasha doesn’t agree to the conditions her mother left in order for her to inherit everything that belonged to her by right of b***d.

Now she’s stuck living together for a year in the same house, with the man who sired her, her new family, and a bunch of hot, rough men who love adrenaline and motorcycles.

Tasha’s heart is not willing to give ground to the forgiveness her father is asking for, nor is she willing to be charmed by Hunter Hell Duncan’s black eyes, much less willing to forget everything she had to go through during those three long years where she was his only honest companion. All she wants is for the year to be over so she can return home.

But who knows, a year is a long time, and Tasha will need all her self-control and sense of survival if she wants to survive now that she’s entering this new biker world.

What the hell was she thinking when she took that deal?

me and lips devouring mine while Demian’s green eyes bewitched me to stay by his side forever.
