Over the years, she had divided her salary into several parts, one for James, one for Eva, and the other for her daily expenses.

Her monthly and annual salaries at the end of the year added up to nearly 300,000 dollars per year. She didn't spend much and saved up all of it. After paying back James, she also saved about 200 thousand dollars.

It's not a lot, but if something didn't go smoothly for Eva after marriage, having some extra money on hand could give her peace of mind.

And besides, the money was earned from her own job, not something she obtained through selling herself. So Eva could feel at ease with it.

Eva was a little shocked to see this bank card.

She thought there was not much money left after Amelia paid James back the one million dollars.

She wanted to give some more money to Amelia, but she didn't expect that she had saved up a dowry for her.

It must have been saved by being frugal and unwilling to spend money on daily expenses.

No wonder Amelia was so thin. She must have suffered a lot

from hunger.

Eva touched Amelia's check and said, "Amelia, you've suffered a lot."

Amelia smiled gently and said, "I have a high annual income and don't spend much on daily expenses, so I was able to save this money. Please take it."

Eva pushed away the bank card handed over by Amelia, "I can't take this money. I'm older than you, and I'm your older sister. Only older sisters prepare dowry for younger sisters. How can younger sisters give dowry money to older sisters? This is not following the rules."

Knowing she wouldn't take it, Amelia stopped trying to persuade her and stuffed the card into her suitcase.
