Chapter 300 An Accomplice

Jack asked, "What about that money that the Martin Group settled earlier?"

Wulf replied, "That money paid the interest on the other debt. That was only just enough for interest. So Mr. Jack Mitchell, what do we do next?"

Jack fell silent.

He couldn't breathe at all, as if he had a boulder weighing him down on his shoulders.

As soon as he was quiet, the sound of being pursued for debt repayment kept ringing in his ears. The sound made his head numb and hurt, as if it would just explode the next second.

Wulf didn't hear a response from him for a long time, so he turned around and asked, "Mr. Jack Mitchell, why don't I take you home first?"

He kept asking, "Mr. Jack Mitchell? Mr. Jack Mitchell?"

Jack leaned back in the backseat with his eyes closed, and Wulf called out to him several times with no response. Then he realized Jack had probably passed out.

In the hospital, Jack was being rescued.

Jack was in a coma caused by too much stress and wasn't in good condition at the moment.

Kimberly and Jennifer got the news and came immediately. Jennifer cried out in anxiety. "Why is he in a coma?"

Kimberly gently reassured Jennifer, "Mommy, Daddy's going to be okay. We have to trust him."

Jennifer pressed her lips together and kept nodding.

They had no good options now. There was nothing they could do as family members except pray and believe in him.

Jack was wheeled out half an hour later. While his life was not in danger, it was unknown when he would wake up.

Back in the ward, Kimberly asked Jennifer to stay with Jack. Kimberly was going home to pack some daily necessities and clothes to change into. And she sent Harper a message. [Dad is in the hospital and not doing well. If you still consider yourself part of the Mitchell family, come over and see him.]

Harper was eating breakfast and dropped her fork when she saw what Kimberly had sent.

She immediately got up and said, "I'm going to the hospital."

"What's wrong?"

"Kimberly said my dad's in the hospital, and he's not doing very well. I'm going over to check it out."

Benjamin immediately accompanied her out but didn't expect to run into Eleanor at the door.

Eleanor looked at Harper and said, "Something happened to the Mitchell family. Why didn't you tell me?"

Eleanor didn't play with her cell phone or watch TV, but she did read the newspaper. So she just found out and rushed to Harper.

Harper didn't explain much but said, "Take it easy. I'll go over there now."

She didn't say anything about going to the hospital so Eleanor wouldn't worry.

Eleanor didn't ask more questions but instructed her, "Okay. Go ahead and talk things over nicely."

Harper nodded, then set off with Benjamin.

When the two arrived at the hospital, Benjamin went straight to Yinson to replace out what was going on and then took Yinson to the ward. However, Jennifer blocked them before they could even get inside the ward. Jennifer pointed at Harper and said coldly, "Get out! Get the hell out of here!"

She said, "Harper, how dare you come here? You're responsible for your father being the way he is today. If you hadn't refused to do

a small favor, how could your father and the Mitchell Group have become what they are now?

Jennifer reached out and pushed Harper directly, and Benjamin immediately wrapped her up behind him for protection. Harper looked seriously at Jennifer and said, "You can stop me. But Daddy needs Yinson right now, so let Yinson in."

Jennifer naturally knew Yinson and how good Yinson's medical skills and abilities were.

But at the moment, resentment and anger towards Harper took over all her composure. She said, "We don't need your handout. Harper, if your father dies, you will live in

ve

condemnation for the rest of your life. You will get bad karma.

"Are you really sure?" Harper looked Jennifer in the eye and said, "To make me receive a reprimand, you wouldn't let Yinson in to see my father. Are you an accomplice?"
