I'm Your Sister, Brother Chow
Chapter 37: You Still Have Sister Celine

No, it wasn't just her face that had turned crimson. Her entire body was already flushing like a cooked lobster.

As the mist cleared, Chow's overbearing figure appeared at the door.

He didn't stop at the door. He entered the bathroom as the door clicked shut behind him.

Because of the backlight, Vivian couldn't quite see the expression on Chow's face. However, as she saw him slowly make his way towards her, she suddenly felt like stalked prey. "Brother Chow, I'm taking a bath. Can you please go out?" Vivian's voice was so low that it was barely heard above the trickling sound of the water.

Nonetheless, it was clear that Chow had heard everything she said because he lowered his head with a silent chuckle.

He took off his coat, threw it aside, and continued walking towards the bathtub. "Nope."

His reply was short, straightforward, and rather authoritative. For a brief moment, Vivian couldn't replace it in herself to argue with him.

But because she was truly terrified of what he would do to her, she still pleaded in a soft voice. "I-I will be done washing very soon. Aunt Blaine is waiting for us downstairs."

Vivian couldn't think of any other way to save herself other than bringing Aunt Blaine into the picture.

However, even after bringing up Aunt Blaine, Chow still looked unaffected. He scoffed and looked at her in disdain.

Vivian lowered her head and continued pleading in a soft voice. "Brother Chow, please, can you just go out?"

As the words left her lips, Chow had already reached the bathtub.

He snorted once more. "I said, I'm not going out," he replied in a firm voice.

With that, Chow lifted his leg and stepped into the bathtub.

When she sensed that Chow was getting closer to her, Vivian curled herself up tightly into a ball as she hugged herself even tighter.

It didn't seem like Chow had any intention of leaving. Soon, he was seated right next to her in the bathtub.

The water level in the tub rose up to Vivian's chin.

Vivian lifted her head to avoid the water. Just then, Chow also held her chin as he scooted even closer to her. "Put your arms down," he said in a low voice. The water temperature had been just right when she got in just now. However, with Chow so close to her, it suddenly felt like she was sitting in boiling water. She stared dumbly at Chow, her face still a deep crimson colour. Her arms were still tightly wrapped around her body. She didn't dare to move a muscle. Chow narrowed his eyes dangerously and yanked at her arms.

Vivian gasped and tried to cover her body again, but Chow gripped her arms firmly.

In a panic, she pushed him away and retreated into her shell, hugging herself even more tightly.

This time, Chow didn't make things difficult for her. He lifted his head as a rare smile appeared on his face. "Wash my back for me," he said in a rather hoarse voice. "W-What?" She was still a little flustered and failed to catch what Chow had said.

Chow let out a wicked chuckle and held her chin again. "If you don't want to do it, we can try something else instead."

Vivian's face turned red. She quickly nodded her head. "N-No, it's fine. I'll wash your back!"

Chow took in her nervous reaction and sneered. He then turned around and revealed his solid back to her.

Vivian's eyes instantly fell on the horrible scar on his back.

She always knew that Chow had a scar on his back. After all, they'd seen each other naked many times in the past two years.

However, she had no idea how this scar came about.

Whenever she wanted to ask him about it, Chow would look at her with even more hatred in his eyes. She never dared to ask him about the scar anymore after a while.

She didn't know where the scar came from, but she knew that it must have caused him a lot of pain when he got hurt.

It was a really deep scar. Vivian just couldn't imagine just how much pain Chow had endured before it finally healed.

Vivian felt her heart squeezing in pain for him. She seemed to have forgotten about her shyness and reached out to gently caress the scar.

She didn't let her fingers linger long just in case it made Chow angry. Nonetheless, she still found herself weirdly drawn to the scar on his back.

She hadn't even touched him for a while before Chow's body turned rigid.

"Are you trying to seduce me?" Chow asked in a low, muffled voice.

Vivian was shocked. She hurriedly retreated her hand and denied it. "No, I'm not!"

Chow didn't look at her. He just continued speaking in his hoarse voice. "Then hurry up!"

Vivian swallowed thickly and picked up a towel beside her. She wetted the towel and started scrubbing his back for him.

Even with a scar, Vivian still thought that Chow's back was beautiful.

Vivian carefully washed along his back. Even without trying to, she could feel the heat channelling from Chow's warm body through the towel to herself.

It was so hot that she wanted to get out of the bathtub.

However, without Chow's permission, she didn't dare to do anything about it.

Vivian bit her lower lip and continued scrubbing his back diligently. If she looked carefully, she could even notice the red scratch marks that she'd made on his skin a few days ago.

When she found the scratch marks, Vivian felt the guilt creeping into her heart. She slowed down in her actions and was suddenly caught off-guard by Chow.

He turned around and grabbed Vivian's hand, which was still holding the bath towel. "You're touching me too lightly to just be washing my back. Are you sure that you're not seducing me on purpose?" Vivian stiffened under his grasp and shook her head quickly. "No, I'm not!"

With a firm tug, Vivian fell into his arms.

This was the first time they had such intimate contact ever since that night.

It was like time had stopped for them both. The water in the bathtub had long turned cold. Vivian finally collapsed in his arms, unable to replace the energy to even sit up straight anymore.

Chow held her in his arms and got up. As the water splashed out onto the floor, he stepped out of the tub and carried Vivian with him.

He quickly rinsed them off in the shower before carrying her back into her bedroom.

Chow placed her gently on the bed. Instead of turning to leave, Chow climbed onto the bed and tucked her head into the crook of his neck.

The two of them lay quietly on the bed. Chow's mood had improved significantly after being satisfied.

He closed his eyes and whispered softly into Vivian's ear. "Just stay here and let Aunt Blaine bring dinner up."

Vivian stiffened when she heard Chow's suggestion. She didn't want Aunt Blaine to see them in such an intimate position so she ignored the pain in her body and struggled away from his hold. "N-No! It's fine, I can go downstairs for dinner!"

Vivian was too ashamed to let Aunt Blaine see them like this.

She would undoubtedly die of embarrassment if she let Aunt Blaine see her cuddling up to Chow like this.

Chow pulled her back against his chest rather impatiently. "It's just dinner. Why are you so reluctant?"

Vivian shook her head as she blushed. She hadn't openly protested against Chow like this before. "No, please, I can go downstairs for dinner."

Chow impatiently opened his eyes again, but as soon as he saw Vivian looking at him shyly, his lips tugged upwards into a teasing grin. "Why? Are you afraid of what Aunt Blaine would say if she knew what we did?"

Vivian shivered and lowered her head in embarrassment when he said it in such a straightforward manner.

Chow continued teasing her and held her chin. "Even if you didn't tell her, Aunt Blaine definitely knows already," he said in a low whisper. "I've been in your room for two hours. Why else do you think she hasn't come up to get us for dinner yet?"

"S-Stop saying such things," Vivian said, mustering just enough courage to cover Chow's mouth. However, Chow opened his mouth and bit her hand.

"Ow!" Vivian exclaimed and quickly withdrew her hand. Her face started burning up.

Chow caressed her face gently. "You were so passionate when we were doing it in the tub just now," he said with a sly grin. "Why are you acting so innocent about it now?"

Vivian felt her heart thumping loudly against her ribcage. Her face also paled.

However, unlike in the past, Chow didn't say anything else mean or spiteful to her.

Instead, he narrowed his eyes and finally let go of Vivian. He stood up from the bed. "I'm just going to get you dinner while I'm still in a good mood," he said. "No need to get Aunt Blaine involved."

As he spoke, he fetched a sleeping gown from Vivian's wardrobe and covered her with it.

Vivian was still somewhat uncomfortable thinking what Aunt Blaine would say when she saw Chow bringing food up for her. "I-I can still-"

Chow snorted and looked at her with a hint of ridicule in his eyes. "What? Do you actually want to go down and eat under Aunt Blaine's watchful gaze?"

Vivian's whole body turned stiff.

He was right. There was no way Vivian could pretend that nothing had just happened between Chow and her just now. She couldn't have Aunt Blaine watching her.

She gingerly rubbed her growling stomach and looked at Chow with defeated eyes. "In that case, I-I'm sorry for troubling you, Brother Chow."☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
