As the restaurant wasn't big, all the tables were placed close to eachother.

A young couple sitting beside them heard Tobias’ words.

Armed with a superiority complex, the girl commented to her boyfriendin disdain, “Darling, the guy beside us isnt willing to pay for anotherplate. But he does look handsome. It seems like by looking good isenough to get by nowadays.”

Her boyfriend gave them the side-eye. “That's why you should begrateful for how well I treat you. After all, I let you spend my money atwill. Next time, I should just be more stingy just like him.”

Both Skylar and Tobias clearly heard the couple's conversation.

Skylar sneered, “Sheesh, what's there to gloat about.”

Tobias simply ignored them as he wasn't bothered by such a trivialmatter.

In the end, Skylar didn't finish the second plate. She just paid and left.From inside the restaurant, the couple watched as Skylar and Tobias gotinto a Porsche despite not willing to pay for another plate of spaghetti.Stunned, both of them wondered if this was how the rich actually lived.Back at home, Skylar went upstairs to take a bath. As for Tobias, heseemed free today as he didn’t work on his laptop.

Meanwhile, the TV was on in the living hall and tuned to the financialnews channel. Currently, it reported that the Ford Group had officiallyventured into the entertainment industry and set up their ownmanagement company.

After her shower, Skylar walked out in a loose bathrobe. She was soslim that the bathrobe looked oversized on her.

Sitting beside Tobias, Skylar's body emitted the fragrance of the showergel she used.

To Skylar, showering was the most therapeutic part of the day. Whenshe realized she needed to start filming soon, she wondered how longshe needed to wait before being able to shower again.

She poured a glass of warm milk and put it by his left hand. With hiselbows on his knees, Tobias looked at the milk.

“You're serving me a drink of your own accord. Do you have a request?”Tobias’ question was direct. It caused Skylar to realize that he couldeasily see through her. Before she even voiced out what she wanted, healready knew the answer.

Skylar bit her lip. “Can you lend me some money? Five hundredthousand will do. I'll repay you with the money I receive from acting.I've also written down the 10U.”

Skylar was exceptionally polite with Tobias.

Tobias furrowed his eyebrows. “Are you trying to pay off your friend'sdebt?”

Skylar nodded. After giving it a lot of thought, she knew that it wasimpossible for Penelope to gather so much money from her job incustomer service.

Tobias replied plainly, “You don't have to be so cordial with me. Besides,you shouldn't sympathize with your friend for being stupid. I'msomeone fair so there's no need for an IOU. You can repay the favorwith your body.”

She was still wearing the loose bathrobe as she followed Tobiasupstairs. Rummaging through his drawer, he took out one of his whiteshirts and handed it to Skylar.

“Wear this. I want to see you in it..."

The shirt's sleeve extended beyond her arms and it felt very cooling.

“I have my own pajamas.” Skylar pointed at the wardrobe thatbelonged to her.

“I just want you to wear this. It has nothing to do with whether youhave your own pajamas or not.” Tobias extended his hands into herrobe and pinched her as punishment.

Under Tobias’ gaze, Skylar changed into the white shirt he had justgiven her.

His shirt was so loose that she didn't feel secure in it. She had nothingelse on and the shirt accentuated the shapes of her body.

Tobias watched on in glee. She looked sexier with the shirt as comparedto being naked.

“Have you been with a lot of women before?” Skylar began to feel thepressure under Tobias’ pensive gaze.

“Not really.”

Skylar didn't believe it. In her eyes, Tobias was a player and life was hisstage. He valued freedom and she believed it was difficult for him tosettle down.
