“Here's a gift for you.” Winnie walked over to Skylar's side while shewas doing her eye makeup.

Winnie was basically self-praising. No wonder there was a sickeningstrong smell of milk candy when she stood beside me earlier.

Skylar lowered her head to use her phone as she did not want to dealwith Winnie. “That's too bad then cause you are very similar to thefemale lead character. Even the netizens agree.”

Winnie replied humbly, “N-no! Don't listen to those netizens. Maybethe director wanted to portray her in a different style.”

Skylar shrugged her shoulders and said, “No matter what they say, Iwas chosen to be the female lead by the director and the crew. If youfeel that you should be the female lead instead, please tell themdirectly instead of doing all these to hint me.”

Winnie froze and her face fell. She turned and left.

She was mad — she threw the glass bottle of artisan water that Conniepassed her. It shattered into many tiny pieces.

She bit her lips and muttered, “She's just showing off that the directorand the crew had her back.”

“Exactly! The director will surely regret it. Just look at your popularity!”Connie added.

After Winnie left, Skylar gifted the book to Hannah.

That day's filming was exceptionally smooth. Skylar's scene with Harryended in one shot. Harry was a true professional, and Skylar admiredhis adaptability.

Since that day Vensa gave Harry some feedback, she improvedsignificantly and had maintained that standard of acting.

As they were near the end of the shoot, the director requested onemore scene that needed to be shot outdoors

The venue was at Ford Group, right smack in the middle of the CentralBusiness District.

They sent in several requests previously but were all rejected. Whenthey heard that Ford Group finally accepted the request, it felt like theyhad won the lotto.

They took a bus there. Skylar shut her eyes to keep her eyes well-restedand overheard Connie's conversation with the crew.

They were really loud, as Skylar could hear them clearly even with herearpiece on

“The reason Ford Group allowed us to film there was due to Winnie.Who else could beat her popularity?”

“The previous team that I was with requested for a whole month to noavail,” one of the crew added.

“Well, it's all thanks to our dear Winnie. She's so capable that she didn'teven need to send in a request.” Connie spoke louder as if she fearedthat no one could hear her.
