She asked Skylar, “Do you want me to give you a ride? It's hard to get acab now given that it's peak hour. Since you're already famous, whydon't you get a driver?”

“What are you being stunned for? It's cold out here. How long do youplan to stand there?”

Skylar asked Lina out of courtesy, “Do you need a ride?”

Before Skylar could say anything else,Lina had opened the car door and sat in the front passenger seat.Giving Lina a puzzled look, Tobias felt that she was behavinginappropriately. Under normal circumstances, the guest should beseated in the back seat. Despite knowing Lina and the fact that she wasgood at massaging, he knew little else of her.

Standing outside the car, Skylar knocked on the window with a curiousexpression. She hoped that Lina would realize her faux-pas without herhaving to point it out.

As Tobias didn’t comment, Skylar opened the car door and sat at theback. The moment she entered the car, it was filled with the strongfragrance of perfume. Mixed with Tobias’ white sandalwood scent, therewas an erotic charm about it.

When Tobias asked Lina where she stayed, Lina replied with heraddress. In response, Tobias remarked, “It's dangerous there as thereare many foreigners.”

Lina hung her head and replied dejectedly, “I have no choice becausethe rent there is cheaper. I need to support my family as my brother isstill studying.”

Tobias casually replied, “I'll give you enough money for you to lead agood life.”

Skylar felt as if they didn’t know she was there. When she heard theirflirtatious conversation, she grumbled, “You can drop me off first sinceit's on the way there.”

Lina's eyes were filled with anticipation as she desperately hoped thatSkylar would get off quickly. She would then be left alone with Tobias,which was a difficult opportunity to come by.

Tobias rejected her suggestion. “Save it. I'll send your friend home firstas I have something to talk to you about.”

Linas emotions felt as if they were on a roller coaster as they camecrashing down again.

When they arrived at Lina’s address, Tobias didn't drive into thecompound despite being able to. His actions made it clear that Linawas to walk back up herself. After all, he didn't want to waste any time.When Lina didn't move, Skylar asked, “Is this the wrong address? Don'tyou live here?”

Shaking her head, Lina looked conflicted, “As there are no street lamps,I'm scared of the dark. Also, it really isn't safe around here.”
