After managing to struggle free, she asked him what he wanted to do.He replied that he wanted to do something a couple would do. Sincehe had to remain hidden in public, he should at least be able to do ashe wishes at home.

She did not reply that night, and the matter continued to brew on theinternet. After all, she was waiting for instructions from the publicrelations team.

Meanwhile, Kate worked through the night with the PR team to discusson ways to come up with a perfect explanation.

Instead, Amelia took out a paper bag and replied, “Kate, you definitelydidn’t rest well. I especially got up early to buy this quiche for you.Skylar's also a little too irresponsible. The company’s favoring her somuch, but she’s still so reckless. She caused the problem, but so manypeople are cleaning up after her. I didn't sleep well last night because Iwas feeling sorry for you, that you had to worry so much for us.”

Also angry, Kate said, “What else can I do? What has happened hashappened. At least you'll save me from worry and not cause such ascandal. Skylar's young after all and can't stay calm. She can't bear anyburdens. She just got popular but had gotten herself into such a web ofmess. It's disregarding our good intentions and actions.”

Amelia then smiled modestly and replied, “Don’t say that. How can Icompare to Skylar? Things have been going so smoothly for her sinceshe debuted. She's already been named a young talent. I just don'tknow how much of an impact this issue will have on her. Will PrettyDetective be affected by this?”

Kate glanced at her with a meaningful look. “I don't think so. Thedirector pointed her out to go for the audition.”

In a worried tone, Amelia replied, “But Skylar doesn't really haveexperience, after all. These types of shows are usually released duringthe new year. Hence, I don't know if something like this will happenagain during the filming period, up until the day it's released. I don'tmean anything else, though. I'm just a little worried. After all, I'm alsofrom Royal Entertainment and have to go through this with thecompany.”

At that moment, Kate's mind was a mess. Amelia's words did makesome sense. Although Skylar was popular then, there were still manyunpredictable parts in her life.

No company would like such a disobedient artiste.

The contract wrote that the artiste could not announce theirrelationship without approval.
