“Mr. Ford is here too. I'm assuming he came because of this incident.Did you two come here together?” Kate asked.

Skylar didn’t even know that Tobias was coming over, especially sincethe two of them went at it last night.

Tobias had left after getting a phone call earlier. I didn't think he'd beatme to Royal Entertainment since he never really cares about thecompany...

“Where is he? Is he in the CEO's office? I didn't know he came overtoo!” Skylar asked.

Kate lowered her voice to a whisper. “I know you probably won't likewhat I'm about to say, but I'm telling you this for your own good. Theonly reliable thing in this world is your career, so don't pin your hopeson men! For all we know, he could be here to confront you about theincident! It's possible that he suspects you of working together with theperson who took the picture. You know, so that you can force him intomarrying you and gain the title as his wife. He's bound to get sick ofyou sooner or later if you keep this up, okay?”

Skylar frowned at how much Kate was underestimating her place inTobias’ heart.

“He won't think of me that way. We've been dating for a long time now,so he knows me very welll” she said confidently.

Upon that, Kate let out a sigh in disappointment. “You silly girl! Hecould be plotting so many things behind your back without you evenknowing!”

Keeping mum, Skylar didn’t know how she could convince Kate thatTobias had never lied to her.

“Why were you buying a pregnancy test kit anyway? Are you pregnant?You're done for if you get pregnant now! Ask yourself this, would menprefer a hot mom or a pure maiden?” Kate asked worriedly.

“No, I'm not pregnant. I was just feeling unwell and went to buy somepainkillers,” Skylar explained helplessly.

Kate wasn't sure whether to believe her words as Skylar's responsesoften sounded neutral regardless of how she was feeling.

Meanwhile, inside Valerie's office, Tobias picked up a picture of Valerieand Susan on her desk.

It's been so many years now, and yet my two best assistants are stillsingle? That's odd... Well, not that it's my concern, though.

“Mr. Ford, Skylar is now working as an artiste in Royal Entertainment, soyou two should avoid being seen in public or things will be very difficultfor us.
