Checking her watch, shereminded, “Mr. Ford, you still have ten minutes before the meeting.When I walked past the meeting room just now, I noticed that everyonehas arrived.”

At that moment, Tobias remembered that he still had a routine meetingto attend at six-thirty.

Without any hesitation, he postponed it. “Tell them that the meetinghas been canceled and they can go home early. There's something Ineed to attend to.”

Susan clarified, “However, the agenda of tonight's meeting is to discussthe demolition of the western district. Do you still want to cancel it?"Tobias frowned. “Did I not make myself clear?”

When she watched him leave, she sighed, “Skylar sure is something.Even Tobias has to come personally to see her.”

Kate then sent Skylar a message but didn't receive a response. Shegrumbled, “I really don't know what she has been up to every day. Shekeeps leaving her phone on silent and it's really hard to get a hold ofher.”

Giggling, Amelia quipped, “Nowadays, it's hard to replace acquiescentemployees like me that will appear at a moment's notice whenever I'mneeded.”

After he returned to his car, Tobias called Skylar again. However, no onepicked up still. Feeling frustrated, he placed one hand on the steeringwheel and smoked a cigarette with the other.
