He suddenly thought of Skylar's gloomy face. On the contrary, Evadidn't seem to be bothered at all.

Eva's smiling face vanished completely. Immediately, she pulled a longface.

Eva explained, “Mr. Ford, I won't let my personal issues affect my work.This is the basic quality of a good employee.”

Tobias frowned his dark brows. He was annoyed to see Eva flatteringherself.

Then, he asked, “How much do you love this job?”

Eva was stunned for a moment and answered without any hesitation, “Ilove my job very much. I think the company is just like my family. I'mwilling to sacrifice for company.”

Tobias had heard enough of those words. He had lost count of thenumber of people who told him the same thing, saying that they werewilling to give their everything to the company. There were just toomany of them.

“Let me give you a choice. Your brother was still underage. I would takethat as he doesn’t know how to make life choices. Both of you arerelated by blood. So, I'll leave this to you. Your parents and brotherhave been pestering Skylar. I'll give you two options. First, turn a deafear. Second, stop your parents from pressuring Skylar. At the sametime, get your brother to clarify the matter online.”

She clenched her fists tightly. Obviously, she was nervous. Her foreheadwas covered with a thin layer of sweat. “Mr. Ford, I can’t control whatmy parents want to do. I've tried to persuade them to not go too far. Ieven told them not to put Skylar in a difficult position. My brother isimmature and ignorant. They are being unreasonable too. You don'teven know I was about to sever ties with them because of this issue.”Tobias’ gaze gradually darkened. “I'm not interested in your nonsense.What's the point of telling me this? Eva felt so regretful. She was just trying to give Skylar a little bit ofpressure that time. Hence, she came out with the idea. She neverthought that Tobias would intervene in that matter.

Of course, she knew Skylar's weakness. Therefore, she would definitelysuffer in silence until Kevin finished his exam.

However, she forgot about how merciless Tobias was. He was cruelenough to threaten her with her career. Therefore, she could onlychoose between her brother's future or her career. Otherwise, shewould lose her job.

Every company out there would do anything to hire employee whoworked for Ford Group before. Apart from that, headhunters would alsobe calling them.

On the other hand, one would be treated differently if one wereterminated by a company. Big companies would never hire someonewho was fired by the Ford Group.
