As Pink Hair collapsed to the ground, the rest of his lackeys peed intheir pants. They dropped to their knees and groveled at Tobias’ feet,begging for mercy.

However, Tobias wasn't moved as he removed the bullets from the gun.After that, he chucked the gun onto the ground.

He ordered Samuel, his bodyguard, “Call the police and tell them therewas a fight in the car park involving a gun. One had died.”

Samuel knew what to do. Before he left, Tobias gave Pink Hair's corpsea final glance and remarked, “Next time, don't try to be a gangster. Youreally suck at it.”

Meanwhile, Sheldon gulped and swallowed the fear he felt. He didn'tunderstand why Tobias had to be so ruthless.

Tobias was definitely someone that was capable of annihilating hisenemies.

After that, Sheldon accompanied Tobias for breakfast. Both of themdidn’t get to sleep the whole night.

Tobias was in a worse condition than Sheldon, who was having ahangover. He had forgotten the last time he had a good night's sleep.“Tobias, why didn’t you go last night instead? It would have been theperfect opportunity for you to rescue a damsel in distress. Wouldn't itbe great?” Sheldon was chewing on a fried egg as he waited for aresponse.

“I don't have to,” Tobias quipped.

He did want to go to her but Skylar had warned him to stay away.

In his heart, he hoped that she only meant last night and that it didn'tinclude today.

Suddenly, Sheldon’s phone rang and it was Claudia who called

He cleared his throat. “Mom, why are you calling me so early in themorning?”

Claudia asked, “Is your brother with you?”

Tobias signaled to Sheldon with his eyes who understood immediately.His brother needed him to lie.

“No, he's not here. Perhaps he is busy.”

However, Claudia wasn't convinced. Before she ended the call, she eveninstructed Sheldon to look for Tobias. She wanted him to inform Tobiasthat there was something urgent at home and he needed to return.After Sheldon put down his phone, he gave Tobias, who was enjoyinghis breakfast slowly, a sympathetic look.

“Tobias, Mom wants you to go home. Tanya must have been making afuss.”

Tobias took out a white bottle from his pocket and poured two pills out.“I'm not going home. I'm exhausted.”

Sheldon knew that Tobias had a habit of taking sleeping pills as hismental condition had deteriorated to a serious extent.

However, there was nothing much he could do despite wanting to help.He blamed himself for not being capable enough to share Tobias"workload in the company.

He asked, “Tobias, is the wedding going to be held as scheduled?”Tobias was silent.

As Skylar didn't take leave from the dormitory, her absence last nightcaused her to be punished. Furthermore, her name was even put on thenotice board.

She had tired herself out overnight. It was even more exhausting thanmaking love with Tobias

As there were no classes in the morning, she stayed back in the dormand slept.

Coincidentally, Avery returned to the room and made a call. She eventalked loudly on purpose.

“Dad, it really isn't cold here. You don't have to worry that I'll catch acold. I'll be coming home on Friday night so I hope you will cook a potroast for me. Also, there's a dress I like and it costs a hundred thousand.Please transfer me the money for it.”

Skylar turned her body to a more comfortable position and continuedsleeping.

“What? You received an invitation for Tobias’ wedding? It seemssomeone has failed to seduce him. She really is shameless to think thatshe can compete with Tanya.”

The moment Skylar heard Tobias’ name, she became wide awake.

Not wanting to stay in the dorm any longer, she got out of bed andclimbed down her bunk.

Avery had ended the call and looked toward Skylar gleefully. “Skylar,Tobias’ wedding is next week. Do you want to go together? I mayconsider taking someone with me.”

Skylar declined coldly, “There's no need. I don’t know him that well.Also, can't you lower your voice on the phone while I'm sleeping?”Avery's smile faded away. “I want you to know your place and stopdreaming about being Cinderella. Don't think you can act so arrogantlyjust because you know Tobias. Does he even bother about you now?”
