Inner Woman Volume 2 -
61 Pendulum
I swing with the rhythm
of an internal metronome
Tick-tocking with the sway
of the grandfather clock
And in the reflection
of a single moment
I stop.
Balanced between insanity
and reality
like an egg at equinox
Time stands still
The pendulum hangs motionless
Between one breath and the next
I grasp elusive perfection
And the drum rolls
life intrudes
to bring me to earth
and the dearth
of blur between injury and scar
