Malum’s POV

“Do you know why I’ve summoned you here?” I resisted the urge to glare at Christopher. He was one of the many scum of the Earth in my opinion. He might as well be as worthless as a runt and now he was even more worthless than before.

“We’ll I’d like to say it is because you are going to get my mate back now but judging from the fact that your little w***e had to ask me about Paramount Pack’s territory yesterday, I would go in the opposite direction.” He looked smug. He never even tried to learn his place around here, acting as if he were an Alpha. I don’t give a s**t about his family. He may be an Alpha’s son but he ain’t no Alpha.

“She’s not a w***e,” I sneered. His eyes widened. I could see the thought in his eyes. He thought I cared for her. Obviously the thought of me caring for anyone was outrageous. “She’s a b***h,” I corrected. His eyes went back to their normal size and he let out a small chuckle. I growled at him. Every sound he made only annoyed me.

“I would assume that you need information for an upcoming attack. Something you think I didn’t already tell the bitch.” I rolled my eyes. I already knew everything I would need to know for the upcoming attack. Of course there was an upcoming attack. If Lycer and that runt were to run somewhere it would be back to her pack. I need that damned information that Lycer knows. I’ll just ruin the entire pack while I’m at it, maybe keep the runt. Torturing her had been. . .fun. And Lycer’s screams of protest just made it all the better. Yeah, I’ll definitely keep her alive after the pack is up in flames.

“I don’t need anymore information from you.” I saw him tense and I stood up. I walked around my office, stopping at the map. Paramount Pack was one of the largest areas on it, the fourth largest area. They weren’t the strongest pack but they were definitely one of them. However, after I destroy them and take all of their land I will have at least the third largest area. After that I will take over the smaller packs until I will have a large enough area to be considered the largest pack.

“Then what do you want?” I chuckled.

“The world, like every evil villain out there of course, but that is not the point. The point is that I brought you here to get the girl so I could get the information. The girl is gone and I have the information I need to kill two birds with one stone by retrieving Lycer and taking over Paramount Pack’s land.” I could basically feel the anger and nervousness rolling off of him in waves.

“What are you saying?” I rolled my eyes again. Was he in denial about what is going to happen or is he just stupid?

“You are no longer of use to me.” I turned around to see him tense and about ready to explode.

“I’ll go and pack my bag,” he said through gritted teeth and turned around.

“Wait,” I stopped him. “That’s the thing about this place. If you leave you leave in a body bag, coffin, something that means you can’t breathe a word of what goes on here to anyone. We have yet to bury that scum of a traitor Auxilio. Might as well throw your body out for the critters as well.” He stiffened and then growled at me, challenging me.

“You know I was hoping I would have more time before I had to kill you. I was thinking I’d take some time to gain the trust of those so called warriors you have but I’ll call them mongrels. Sooner is better than later I guess,” he shrugged. He acted as if everything was so easy. As if controlling these rogues, these experiments, was so simple. They would eat him alive. In fact if I don’t kill him within the next hour maybe I’ll let them do just that.

“That is exactly how I have been feeling about your death lately. Ever since you arrived you have pissed me off. You have pushed every button that remains after all of my life and the last one popped off when they managed to escape.” He growled and shifted. I rolled my eyes at his wolf. He was an average sized wolf, not even the size that a wolf of alpha b***d should be. He was nothing special.

He ran at me and just as he was about to reach me I yanked him up by the scruff of his neck and slammed him to the ground. He growled and flipped himself out of my hold. “How did you ever expect to become an alpha when you can barely make a starting move in a fight?” He backed up and lunged for me again. This time he managed to go under my feet, tripping me in the process. I rolled around and grabbed the knife that I had under my desk. I threw it at him and it struck his shoulder blade. He let out a yelp and growled at me again.

I rolled my eyes and stood up. He jumped in the air, moving on top of me. I fell to the ground again and he tried to go for the death bite. I pushed him off of me with ease. “Did anyone ever tell you that you are weak?” I growled right back at him. He was more pathetic than I originally thought. “Maybe that’s why your mate left you! Maybe she has always wanted to leave you!” I watched in amusement as his eyes turned completely black in anger.

He lunged for me one last final time before I wrapped my arms around his neck. I gripped his neck and snapped it in the opposite side that I moved his body. I enjoyed the feeling of his body going limp in my arms, tossing it aside after.

“Tyler!” I yelled at the top of my lungs. He ran into the room, his eyes assessing the situation. “Clean up this mess! Let the critters eat his body far enough away from here that we won’t smell his decaying body.” I kicked the worthless wolf’s body and walked out of my office.
