Jaded Hearts -
Chapter 87
Matt
My pack travels a lot. But why is it that today, of all days, the house is absolute chaos? Kade can’t replace his passport, Alaia doesn’t know where Xaden’s dress shoes are, and Morgan’s lucky spatula was somehow broken, and she can’t bake the cake without it.
What the actual f**k?
I was ready to just grab Taylor and Gigi and get on the plane, leaving everyone else behind.
“Matt? Sit down and relax. We have an hour until takeoff. We’ll figure this out, okay?” Taylor said as she sat down next to me.
“I refuse to be late, tesoro. I’m marrying you on Saturday, and whoever isn’t there because they left, lost, or forgot something isn’t my f*****g problem.”
“I know, baby. Let me see what I can do.”
She walked headfirst into the fray and began to bark out orders. “Morgan! Get the spatula set I bought you for your birthday. You’re making my wedding cake, not a cake for some stranger. Use something that’s meaningful, not lucky. Alaia? Could you flip through Kade’s memories to see where he left his passport? Just skip over the dirty stuff—I’m sure there’s plenty of that.”
“I can do that,” Alaia replied.
“Cool. And I think I saw some tiny little shoes in the boy’s toy box. I’ll go check while you and Kade get to work.” She disappeared upstairs and, five minutes later, returned with the missing shoes.
“It’s in your safe, you a*****e. Why wouldn’t you check there before you looked everywhere else in the damn house?!” Alaia yelled.
“I thought I packed it. I could’ve sworn I took it out, but thanks, bean!”
Kade took off upstairs, followed by Morgan with the replacement utensil. When everyone had what they needed, I got a text from my mom letting me know they were here to get the baby before heading to the airport themselves.
Since we would be having our bachelor and bachelorette parties in Rome, we were flying straight there. We asked my parents to take Genesis with them to Sicily, which they were more than happy to do.
“Come on, handsome, let’s load up.”
I was holding my head, fighting a pounding headache that had hit me out of nowhere. Taylor noticed and sat in my lap and began to massage my neck and temples. This woman was an angel.
“I’m the bride; I’m supposed to be the one stressed out. Stop doing my job for me.”
“I didn’t think it would be this insane. We’re leaving today, so why weren’t they already packed? Why are we looking for a passport an hour before we’re in the air?”
“Because we wouldn’t be us without a little bit of insanity. It’s what makes me love our group so much. Now get in the truck. You’ll feel better once we’re on the plane.”
She was right. As soon as we took off, I felt myself begin to relax. When Tyson pulled his signature bourbon out of his bag, I relaxed even more. “You don’t know how badly I needed this,” I said as I took a huge gulp.
“I’ve never seen you like this. It’s actually refreshing. I didn’t think anything could ever make you crack. Cold feet?” he asked.
“Far from it. I’d marry her this very second if I could. I just want everything to be perfect; she deserves that. Anything less is unacceptable to me at this point.”
“Nothing’s ever going to be perfect, but if the end result is her having your last name, what could be better than that?”
“I know you’re right, but this means so much to Taylor. I just want one thing to go the way she wants it to.”
“Well, you can relax now. We’re in the air, and you have three days before the wedding; plenty of time for everyone to settle in and get their s**t together.”
I looked over at him. He was lounging next to me, cool, calm, and collected, looking like he didn’t have a care in the world. “How are you this okay right now?”
“What do you mean? I’m not the one getting married.”
“Exactly. You really don’t have an issue with this?”
“I can’t come in at the end of the game and try to change the play. And even if I could, I wouldn’t want to. I believe this is how things were meant to be. And she needs you; she needs both of us.”
I smiled at Tyson. “I like you, man. It may be the bourbon talking, but I really like you.”
Tyson laughed and poured me another glass before Taylor came over and sat between the two of us. “The small closet in the bedroom is occupied. No one with a p***s is to open it, understood?!”
All five of the men in the cabin quickly voiced our understanding, making Taylor beam with pride. “What are you two sexy snacks talking about?”
“Not much. Matt’s just confessed his love for me, and I’ve gotta say, I think the feeling is mutual,” Tyson replied, sending a wink over at me.
We clinked our glasses and laughed. Taylor looked between the two of us and smiled. “I’m happy you two get along so well. It’s a big difference from the last time we were in Rome.”
“Well, he was trying to kill me then, so you can understand my hesitation to sit down and have a drink together,” I replied.
“Lucky for us, I came to my senses and killed the other guy.”

Taylor
We made it to Rome early Wednesday afternoon with plans to spend two nights here before traveling to Sicily Friday afternoon. That gave us two nights to party and have a good time before the wedding. My first night would be spent with Tyson.
The girls either wanted to sleep or do something more “low key” since we’d all be out ‘till the crack of dawn the next night, and Matt’s brothers and the guys wanted to take him out bar hopping.
After a few hours of rest, we were in our room, showering and getting ready for the night.
“I know I don’t have to say this, but I can’t help myself, not when we’re so close to the finish line. Don’t go anywhere by yourself tonight, alright? I know Tyson won’t leave you alone, but if anything goes wrong, just call me, and I’ll come replace you,” Matt said.
“Will you ever stop worrying about me?” I asked.
“I don’t think so. I know you’re capable, but I get a little nervous when you’re not with me. It may wear off a bit … eventually.”
“I’ll be fine, but I’ll let you know if I have any problems. And you be careful too. I haven’t spent too much time with Gio, but he seems just as crazy as Kade. That can be bad for your health.”
“Nah, Gio’s the calm one. It’s Luca we should be worried about. He still hasn’t found his mate, and he’s taking full advantage of the family curse. It’s going to be an interesting night for sure.”
There was a quick knock on the door, and when I opened it, Gio and Luca rushed in and tackled their big brother to the floor. Xander, Kade, and Alexi calmly walked in after them.
“I’m happy I don’t have brothers. I’d have killed them a long time ago if this was how they greeted me,” Xander said.
“You had me, but you love me too much to kill me,” Kade replied.
“Get the hell off me! Haven’t you two grown tired of this s**t?” Matt yelled from the floor.
“Aww, don’t be that way, bro! Once you’re a married man, we won’t be able to do this anymore,” Luca teased.
“Mom and Dad are going to be short two sons if you d***s don’t get off me. Now.”
“Boo! You’re getting boring, old man,” Gio replied.
“We’re one year apart. If I’m old, so are you, you idiot.”
The guys finally got off the floor, and I walked over and rubbed my finger across a red spot where Matt’s cheek made contact with the floor.
“Alright, gentlemen, I want everyone to have a good time, but if this man comes back with any more scratches, bruises, or imperfections on his body, we’re going to have problems. Got it?”
I looked at the brothers, and after a few seconds, they nodded and voiced their understanding. This was my first time seeing all three of them together, and I had to say, Giana and James made beautiful children. Matt, Gio, and Luca all had their mother’s blonde hair and big blue eyes with their dad’s golden tanned skin. Perfect white teeth and beautiful smiles; they didn’t need any family curse to lure women in.
“Taylor, you sure you want to marry this old dude? You and I are the same age. We probably have a lot more in common, too,” Luca said with a wink.
Oh yeah, he was trouble. “Luca? Get out.”
“Huh?” he asked. Clearly, he wasn’t used to women telling him no.
“Get out. And try and keep it in your pants tonight. A ‘one-night stand’ may be over the next morning, but herpes is forever.”
“I’ve always wanted a sister,” he said as he crushed me in a huge hug.
“What about Sasha?” Gio asked.
“Sasha’s a b***h, which is probably why you haven’t married or knocked her up yet,” Luca quickly stated.
“That’s enough. Let her go and wait in the lobby. I’ll be down in a few minutes,” Matt said.
Everyone filed out, and I rubbed my fingers across Matt’s cheek again. Luckily, it was already starting the heal and wouldn’t cause any problems.
“Luca is crazy, but Giana already told me that he was the opposite of you.”
“He’s got a lot of growing up to do, which is one of the perks of being the youngest: no real responsibilities yet. At twenty-one, I’d been Gamma for over three years and was already working at the company.”
“He’ll get it together. Now go have fun, and don’t worry about me. I’ll be perfectly safe.”
“I can’t say the same for myself.”
I pulled his face down to mine and gave him a long, deep k**s before I spun him around and nudged him out the door. Even with his insane little brothers there, I knew that Matt’s pack brothers wouldn’t let anything happen to him. I was going to go out and enjoy myself, worry-free.

Tyson
I was getting dressed when my phone beeped, signaling that I had a new message. It was from Matt letting me know that he was gone for the night and asking me to go get Taylor soon so that she wouldn’t be in the room alone for too long. This guy really was crazy in love with that woman.
I messaged back that I’d head over in a couple of minutes, which seemed to be just what he wanted to hear. I didn’t really want her to be alone either, so I walked to the end of the hall to their suite to bring her back to my room to wait. When she opened the door, I was floored by how delicious she looked.
She was wearing a white sequined mini dress that plunged dangerously low in the front and stopped at the very top of her thighs. The bright white against her flawless brown skin was a perfect contrast; she stood out like a sexy fallen angel. The b***d-red heels and little purse she paired it with made her even more stunning. She was absolutely stunning.
“Did you want something, or did you just come over to stare?” she asked with a smirk.
“Damn, woman. You made me forget what I came over here for.”
She laughed and stepped out into the hall. “We’re going to your room so you can finish getting dressed. At least that’s what your text said.”
“Yeah, but that was before I saw you in this dress. You’ve never looked sexier, and now all I want to do is tie you to my bed and make love to you all night long.”
“There’s plenty of time for that. But first, I need to eat, dance, and work up a sweat.”
Once we were back in my room, I let my primal urges take over. I lifted her up and pushed her back against the door, then attacked her thick juicy lips. With her legs wrapped around my waist, her dress had ridden up and exposed her a*s, giving me perfect access.
“I didn’t think you could get any sexier, but this tiny little thong you’re wearing is making my d**k throb, baby.”
I peppered k****s down her neck and across the full, exposed flesh of her chest, making her m**n. Her body began to respond to my touch, and her h**s slowly started rotating against mine.
“Damnit, Tyson! You’d better make this quick. I refuse to miss going out tonight because of your overactive d**k.”
“Overactive, huh? I’ll show you overactive.”
It only took seconds for me to get her panties out of my way and bury myself balls deep inside of her. When she screamed out, then bit down on my shoulder, it made me wild with l**t, and I pounded her over and over against the door.
I was sure there would be a noise complaint, but at that moment, I didn’t give a shit. I was going to f**k the hell out of this woman, then take her out for the night of her life, just to bring her back here and do it all over again.
