Jaded Hearts
Chapter 90

Taylor

Matt was serious about making that baby. And with the way I’d been screwed over the last twelve hours, it’d be a miracle if I didn’t go home pregnant with his or Tyson’s child. s**t, maybe even both.

When we finally rejoined the rest of the group, all I wanted was a long nap and a deep tissue massage. My poor body had been used and abused by these men of mine and was begging to be pampered.

“You disappeared for a while back there. Did you fall into a hole?” Morgan asked as she looped her arm through mine.

“No, I did not. And why are you so focused on where I was? Shouldn’t you be enjoying the tour?”

“It’s kind of hard to do when I hear my best friend getting hammered around the corner.”

“Oh my god! You heard us?!”

She just stared at me for a second and said, “No, but I figured that’s what was going on, and you just confirmed it. You’re so dirty.”

“I learned from the best. That little trick you taught me almost made your cousin have a heart attack last night.”

Morgan’s eyes grew huge. She was not expecting to hear that. I just laughed.

“Now we’re even. So, I was hoping to get massages today before we go out tonight. Maybe we could go down to the spa or have them send someone up to the room. What do you think?”

“In the room. And have room service send up Peach Bellinis, that sounds perfect.”

Alaia was up towards the front, so I sent her a link, and she happily agreed to join us.

“Alaia’s in too. I can’t wait.”

We hit a few more spots the group wanted to see before we had a nice lunch and headed back to the hotel. Matt, Xander, and Alexi decided to take a couple of hours to see the sites they’d chosen for the resorts since they were here, while the other four guys opted to visit the indoor pool.

I was in my room, getting out of my clothes and into a robe when I heard a knock on the door. I thought it was either room service with the drinks or the masseurs we’d requested.

Nope. It was Tyson, half-naked in just his swim trunks.

His eyes filled with l**t as they trailed down my body, and I suddenly realized I hadn’t closed my robe all the way. When he licked his lips and stepped forward, I took a huge step back and put my hand against his chest.

“No! I have people coming to the room right now, and I didn’t even get to fully recover from last night before Matt tore into me this morning! No,” I repeated.

“I knew you smelled different,” he said as he ran his hands along my bare skin. “I can change that; give you back that earthy, masculine scent you love so much. Just give me ten, no, twenty minutes …”

He bit down on my neck, and I melted. These two were going to literally screw me to death. But with impeccable timing, Morgan banged on the door and yelled through.

“Are the drinks here yet? Open up, Tay!”

“Mo! Go the f**k away!”

“Tyson? What are you doing in there? Get out. You’re holding up progress!”

He growled and flung the door open. “You are the biggest c**k block in the world. If we weren’t family, I’d bury you out in a field somewhere.”

“Love you too, now get out. You can get some nookie another time,” she replied, waving him off. She pushed him out the door, and I heard him yell in frustration right before it closed in his face.

“How are you still standing? I know Kade and I f**k a lot, but damn.”

“It’s not me! I swear those two are in competition or something. As soon as one is done, here comes the other. My honeypot needs a break; they’re about to destroy her.”

“They probably are. Remember what Alaia said?”

“I heard my name! Are you bitches talking s**t about me?”

I opened the door to a smiling Alaia, clearly ready for the gossip.

“No, we’re not talking s**t about you. I’m just having an epiphany that Tyson and Matt are in some weird male dominance competition, and my who-ha is taking a massive beating.”

“I could have told you that. So, where are the Bellinis? You promised Bellinis.”

At the end of the two-hour platinum massage package, the three of us were loose, relaxed, and giggly from all the Prosecco we’d been drinking. We opted to stick to the rules and had female masseurs who couldn’t get enough of all the drama and gossip we were sharing. It was a really good time. When Matt made it back to the room, I was just getting out of the shower.

“How were the sites? Has any work been done yet?” I asked.

“They look great. And yeah, they’ve broken ground, and we’re actually ahead of schedule,” he replied.

“Nice. So, what’s the plan for tonight? Did you have anywhere in particular you wanted to go?”

“We’ll have dinner with everyone and decide then. I don’t want a repeat of last night, so I’m thinking a lounge or club will be good. They can still drink, but hopefully not as much.”

I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his chest. “This is our last night together before we’re married. Tomorrow night, I’m sure Giana and Nonna will kick you out of the house, so I want to make sure we have the best time.”

Matt grinned down at me. “It feels like we’ve been engaged forever, and now we’re less than forty-eight hours away. Finally!”

“Maybe Gio will propose to Sasha at the wedding. Something big always happens at weddings,” I said.

“I doubt that.”

I leaned back and looked up at him. “Why not? And how come she’s not here yet? She could’ve hung out with us girls this weekend.”

“I don’t know if she’s coming. Gio’s under the impression that she’s not really his mate, but he doesn’t want to tell her that in case he’s wrong.”

“How does that work?”

“When they met, he felt the pull and the bond like all of us do, but over time, he says it’s weakened. She doesn’t get along with any of the family, and they barely spend time together anymore. He says he’s fallen out of love with her, but that absolutely never happens with your destined mate. When we get back home, I’m going to help him figure out what’s up.”

“That’s weird … and sad. I hope he figures it out. I love your brothers, and they both deserve to be as happy as we are.”

“They love you too—Luca probably a little too much.”

“Nah, he’s just a flirt. Besides, I don’t have the time or muscle strength for a third man in my life,” I joked.

“That’s good to know.”

He began to strip out of his clothes and headed off towards the bathroom. “Will you wash my back for me, angel?”

I still hadn’t gotten dressed yet, so I followed him in the shower and rubbed the soapy sponge all over his back and shoulders. I took some extra time to massage his muscles and really scrub. I loved being able to pamper him when he did it for me so often.

“There you go, handsome. You’re all set,” I said as I passed it back to him.

“Not yet, I need to do yours now.”

“But I’m clean. I just got out the shower five minutes ago.”

He spun me around and started running his hands up and down my back. No sponge, no soap, just his bare hands sending sparks up and down my spine. When those same hands came around and cupped my breasts, I knew then that he’d set a trap, and I’d walked right into it.

“Have I told you how much I love and appreciate you today?” he asked as he trailed k****s along my neck.

“No, I don’t think you have.”

“Let me show you.” He bent his knees and slowly entered me from behind.

“I love you. You are perfect, you are a goddess, and you are my queen. My life is nothing without you in it,” he whispered in my ear as he destroyed me with deep, slow strokes.

“You are so strong, so incredible, and so f*****g sexy. I’m honored to be your husband, and so blessed that you agreed to be my wife.”

He’d never done this before, and his words were hitting me directly in the heart. I knew without a doubt that he meant everything he was saying to me.

“I love you. I love you. I f*****g love you, tesoro. My greatest treasure.” He held me tight against his chest and rained down affirmations until we both shattered around each other.

Whatever was fueling him today, I wouldn’t complain. He was my king, my love, my heart; this man completed me.

Matt

I knew that I was wearing my poor angel out, but I couldn’t help myself. That woman was everything I’d ever wanted in a mate and wife, and now that we were so close to the wedding day, she had become my air. I needed her to breathe. There was no other way to describe it.

But eventually, I let her go and allowed her to take a nap before we went out for the night. While she slept, I watched her incredible face and wondered what the hell was happening with Gio and Sasha. I could never, ever, not love this woman in front of me. It would be like not loving myself. It was impossible for me to go days or weeks without seeing her. I’d lose my f*****g mind.

Something strange was going on, and as soon as we were back from the honeymoon, I would replace out. I saw the way Gio looked at Taylor and me, and I knew he wanted it for himself. I would do whatever I needed to do to make sure he did.

An hour before we were supposed to leave, I leaned over the bed and attacked Taylor’s face with k****s, forcing her awake.

“Ugh! I hate being awaken from a good nap, but when you do it with k****s, I can’t be mad. So not fair.”

“That’s why I do it. It’s time to start getting ready, baby. Dinner is at 6:00, and I know you don’t want to be late for that.”

“Good point.”

She kicked off the blanket and walked to the closet, my eyes following her naked body the whole way. I remembered the first time I saw her this way, back when she was still fighting Drew’s demons, before she knew how strong she was.

Now, she was so free and open with her body and s****l desires. She knew what she wanted, and she took it. I loved it.

Having a child changed her body in the best ways. Her h**s were wider, her breasts were fuller, as her skin looked like it was always glowing. I was obsessed with every single thing about her.

“Hey! Have you never seen a naked woman before? Did you hear anything I just said?”

“Yes, I heard you.” I really hadn’t heard a word she’d said.

“So? Can we go?” she asked with a sly smile.

Oh shit.

“Uh, yeah. We can go if you want. I don’t mind,” I replied nervously.

“Matthew Anthony Stone! You’re so full of s**t, and you clearly were not listening. I asked if we could go to a male strip club tonight—all of us. And you just agreed to take me.”

When she started laughing, I just fell back on the bed. She walked over, crawled on top of me, and looked down at my face.

“You’re adorable, and I love you. But I’d never drag you and the guys to a male strip club. I was just messing with you.”

“Thank god, because I was going to take you if that was really what you wanted to do tonight.”

“Nope. You’re the only male I want to see strip tonight. But that’s after I eat.”
