Keeper Of The Flame
Chapter 36: Shawn Leaves The Cabin

I was working on a bike when I heard a car pull up. I looked up from where I was kneeling and saw Shawn step out of the car.

Dam she is just as beautiful as she was 10 years ago when she was 16. I watched as she walked to the clubhouse door and walk in. I sighed and continued to work on the bike. I worked for about four more hours before wiping down my tools and putting them away and walked to the clubhouse.

I entered the club and looked over at the VIP table. I saw Shawn sitting there drinking her usual coffee. I walked on down the hallway toward my room.

I walked in shutting and locking my door. I started stripping before walking into my bathroom and the shower. I sighed as the hot water slide down my body.

Once all the grease, sweat, and dirt was off me I got out and put on clean jeans before laying down on my bed. I closed my eyes and dozed off dreaming of what can't be.

I had met Shawn in high school. I have loved her the minute my eyes landed on her but she was scared of us. I stayed in the background always watching over her, protecting her.

When she was getting bullied by the football players lets just say that several of them ended up with busted ribs and black eyes. They learned really fast to stay away from her.

We started dating our senior year. We had a good relationship until I messed it up. Our club back then was different when our dad ran it. It was the same as Ace's club is now. I had come home from school and was having sex with a club whore.

Shawn ran into my room with eyes shining and laughing with excitement to give me some good news. Then she saw us. The light went out of her eyes and she ran from my room with tears flowing down her face.

She shoved my brothers aside and I heard them asking what was wrong. She didn't answer she just yelled back. Stay away from me. All of you. Especially if you are just like him. A no good lying, cheating bastard. I never saw her back at our clubhouse after that day.

Now she is back. It has been 10 years since that day she ran out of here. I got up and walked out to the kitchen. I saw her sitting with Donna and my mom. My mom gave me a look as if to say. Do not walk over here.

I turned and went to sit with my brothers. Keith said "looking at me."

" I saw mom give you the look. She still has not forgiven you has she?"

" No she hasn't. I noticed that Shawn did not look at me either."

" She still has not forgiven me. I have not touched a woman since she left me."
