Let Me Go, Mr. Hill!
Chapter 2853

Chapter 2853

"But given that you're crippled, do you think you'll be able to look after Miss Robbins anymore?"

Ken thought that if he himself wcrippled, he might give up the person he loved instead.

That was because he would think she was out of his league.

However, he did not see that with Chester. All he could see was Chester putting on an act.

"If I could sacrifice my leg for a 10 percent chance of being with her, isn't it worth a try?"

Chester said it so casually. It was as though he was talking about today's weather. "Do you think I don't know Hunter's character?"

A hint of shock shone in Ken's eyes as he began to put everything together in a daze. At the sight of the skinny and fragile man in front of him, Ken shuddered.

It turned out Chester had long known that Hunter would angrily cause him trouble that day.

How could Chester be so cruel that he took full advantage of himself?

"Actually, you could've stopped Hunter that day, right?" Ken asked in disbelief.

"If I'd begged and deceived my dad, I would surely be able to trick you and Shaun into rushing back. However, I couldn't bring myself to do that."

Chester sighed softly. "Ken, I was gambling whether she would become soft-hearted. I was gambling on a chance. If my leg heals in the future, she'll completely let go of me."

"That's why you made her feel guilty by using your crippled leg? So she'll remember you forever?" Only then did Ken get the point.

"I want my name to be engraved in her heart forever. I want her to remember me." Chester suddenly laughed like a madman. "As long as I'm here, she won't be interested in anyone else. It doesn't matter if she doesn't accept me. We can remain single this way.

Even if we can't get together, no one else can get between US."

Ken gasped.

He used to replace Eliza cruel.

However, now that he thought about it, he pitied Eliza for provoking a madman like Chester.

In Neeson Corporation, ever since charity and Josh's scandal was exposed, charity became increasingly reclusive.

Apart from heading to the office and attending social functions, she hardly went anywhere else.

"Sure enough, you're a conscientious celebrity like your staff said."

Josh's teasing voice suddenly rang out above her.

Charity lifted her head. As the door of her office was open, Josh swaggered into the room in sports attire. His attire was zipped all the way below his chin, but it did not affect his handsome look at all.

"What brings you here?" charity immediately leaped to her feet and personally poured coffee for the ambassador of the company. "It's fine. I don't drink coffee. Please give me a bottle of mineral water." Josh raised his chin arrogantly. "Your company's marketing department told me to come over to sign the agreement."

"What agreement?"

"When the new product launched, I attended two of Neeson Corporation events in Brisbane and shelltown." Josh glanced sideways at her. "At first, I didn't agree, but I decided to help Neeson Corporation since you sued all the haters who spread rumors about me last time."

Stunned, Charity turned around and took a bottle of water from the refrigerator. Then, she handed the bottle to him. "That matter started because of me. If it weren't for me, you wouldn't be embroiled in the scandal. It was my duty to sue the haters."

"Alright." Josh took over the bottle and said lazily, "My competitor was the one who took the photos at the training base. During the competitions in the past few months, he had been wanting to beat and replace me."

Charity was surprised. Nevertheless, she soon understood that competition existed everywhere.
