When they reached the first floor, the people in the elevator left one after another. Serenity and Gabriel were the last to comeout.

Her quiet little face was gentle. “I don’t have anything to buy.”

She had already walked around the supermarket and her eyes would occasionally glance at the women’s products section. Hewas not blind. “Go quickly.”

Serenity dawdled for a long time before she braced herself and walked to the women’s products section. With a few quickglances at the shelves, she found the brand she usually used, took a bag, stuffed the product in, and hid it behind her backbefore walking to queue at the counter.

Awell-defined hand reached out from her side and handed her an expensive custom-made wallet. She tilted her head andlooked at Gabriel in confusion.

Gabriel indifferently asked, “Do you have money?”

Serenity came out of the washroom and someone knocked on her door. She peeked through the peephole and saw that it was ahotel staff.

She opened the door and saw the waiter holding a glass of brown sugar water. “Miss, here’s what you requested..”
