Love Began with the First Meeting -
Chapter 659 Several Scenes (Part One)
Oftentimes, we opt to travel a long distance to visit rose gardens in other places and then ignore the roses that were blooming right in our backyards.

Molly was in a daze as she stared at the car that was speeding towards her that she had forgotten to react. Suddenly, her pupils dilated in shock. The car screeched to a halt.
The sound of the brakes were extra loud and shrill in the cloudy early morning. Frozen in shock, Molly glared at the car in front of her as she gasped for air. Due to the reflection of the windshield glass, she couldn't clearly see who was inside the car. She gradually lowered her head as her heart beat rapidly. She could see how little the distance was between the car and her body. If the driver hadn't stopped in time, she would have been run over.
The car door flew open and someone with a different kind of atmosphere, who walked towards Molly, stepped out. Molly's eyes were still fixed on how close the car was to her body completely oblivious to the person who had just stood right next to her. Although this wasn't Molly's first life and death experience this was different because she actually felt that death had almost lingered over her and she wasn't able to do anything about it.
"Molly," Eric said easily as he leaned against the hood of his car with his arms folded across his chest. His eyes glinted slyly. "Don't you know better than to avoid cars running towards you?" he said easily.
Molly raised her head slowly at the sound of his voice. At first, Molly felt immobilized at the sight of Eric then she felt a wave of anger surge over her. As if her brain willed her to do it, she punched him before she could even stop herself.
"Ouch!" Eric coiled slightly with a pained expression on his face, his hands covering his stomach.
Molly looked at Eric then at her fist in a surprised look. She asked hastily, "Eric, are you okay? How are you feeling? I didn't punch you that hard, I think..." Molly trailed off.
Eric raised his head, the pained look on his face had completely gone and now was replaced by a knowing smile. Molly instantly knew he was just playing with her once again. She clenched her teeth and lifted her hand again attempting another punch but it was blocked by Eric by wrapping his hand around her tiny wrist.
"Let go of me!" Molly said angrily. She struggled to get out of Eric's grip but he was way too strong for her. Exasperated, she said, "Eric..."
Eric loosened his grip then leaned against his car in a relaxed manner keeping his gaze at her. After surveying Molly from head to toe, he frowned and asked, "How come you look so...pasty?"
Molly pressed her lips together-she didn't feel like showing all her cards to Eric right now. "Because you scared me!" she said angrily.
Once Eric realized that Molly didn't want to talk about it, he didn't press on. He just shrugged and shifted his gaze to the bag Molly was holding. "Where are you going? It's so early in the morning," Eric commented.
"I'm going to work," Molly answered simply then she attempted to leave but couldn't because Eric was still holding onto her arm.
"You're going to work?" Eric frowned. "Did Brian agree to this?"
"I don't need him to agree to it," Molly said, enraged. She tried to wriggle herself free again but couldn't. So she glared at him and said in a peeved tone, "I'm going to be late because of you! Why don't you just go? Aren't you busy with your own stuff?" "I'm giving you a ride," Eric lifted his chin. "Get in the car!"
Molly looked at the car then at her watch. She was probably going to be late anyway and considering what had happened yesterday, she didn't want to cause any more trouble. So she nodded and hopped in the car.
Eric went inside too and started the car, turning around to leave the villa and headed down the mountain.
Brian, meanwhile, was standing in front of the window of his study he had seen everything. He almost jumped out the window when he saw Eric speeding towards Molly but he was well-aware of Eric's driving skills so he was able to restrain himself somehow. A grimace appeared on Brian's face as he turned around just in time for the phone to ring.
"Brian," Wing said sweetly, "I'm arriving this afternoon but you don't need to pick me up."
"Why?" Brian said, frowning slightly.
Wing giggled as she watched Shirley get angry at Richie-she shook her head with an easy smile on her face. Then she returned her attention back to Brian, "I have to see the old man first. He got annoyed last time my visit was delayed. I'm afraid he might get angry if he founds out I'm there and I don't drop by to say hello in the first time." "I'm still going to pick you up," Brian said as left his study. "I'm coming with you."
"You're coming with me?" Wing asked in surprise. Even though Mr. Song was pretty well-known in A City, but to Brian, he was pretty insignificant. And Wing knew that Brian would only do this-interact with Mr. Song-if it was for her.
"Hmm," Brian mumbled as he headed downstairs. He quickly glanced at the breakfast that was laid out on the table, untouched then he withdrew his sight. "They're going to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his retirement from the underworld next week, so I might have to talk to him either way," Brian said.
"Oh," Wing said, pursing her lips, without making any comment. She'd never been involved in matters such as those because it was not likely that Richie or Brian would allow her to. It looked crazy on the surface that Wing was so pure and innocent while Richie and Brian were the opposite-involved in sketchy dealings, sometimes even had blood on their hands. Whenever she thought of this, she felt nothing but empathy for them. She felt sorry for both Richie and Brian and the woman who had showed nothing but love for Wing since she could remember.
Wing subconsciously looked at Shirley who was shouting at Richie before promptly walking out. Wing smiled, "Okay, you can come with me. Bye, see you then."
"See you," Brian said as he got in his car. "Tony, Grand Night Casino," he said simply.
"Yes sir," Tony answered, and then started the car and headed to the Grand Night Casino. 00☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
