Love Began with the First Meeting
Chapter 685 All I Can Do Is Put On A Mask (Part One)

Brian took one sip of the wine while staring at Hannah with his deep dark eyes.

He tasted it carefully, savored the taste before putting the goblet down on the table.

Hannah also took a sip as she looked into Brian's eyes, and said, "What do you want me to say? Mr. Brian Long, I've always liked you and I've never tried to conceal my feelings for you. These past few days, I've tried to repress my emotions, but the harder I tried, the more obsessed I become with you." Hannah smiled bitterly before continuing, "What happened that day was just an accident, but I never once regretted it. I don't care whether we end up together in the end or not, but I will never regret it."

"Really?" Brian took another sip at the wine before saying in a casual tone, "What if I don't regret it either?"

Hannah didn't respond, she just stared at him. She knew exactly who had been with him that night, but she didn't care about it at all. The only important thing was that he thought it was her.

"Hannah," Brian's eyes were a little unfocused, and it almost looked like he had fallen in love with her. He then gazed at her affectionately and said, "I really missed that night." Though his mind wasn't clear at that time because of the drugs, it was an unforgettable wonderful experience.

Brian's odd expression made Hannah realize that the drug was starting to take effect. She whispered, "So you asked me out tonight to..."

"Yes, what you're thinking is perfectly right." Brian's voice had become husky and deep.

"But we're sober now," Hannah pointed out.

"So what?" Brian looked extremely arrogant, "I want you, and that's enough." Both his voice and eyes became deeper, even darker, as if he was the devil rising from hell to destroy all humans.

Hannah stared meaningfully at Brian and smiled to herself. How charming could she be! Even this imperious Mr. Brian Long was now head over heels in love with her.

"Oh!" Her thoughts were cut short as interrupted by Brian, who had just swept and carried her in his arms. She wrapped her arms around Brian's neck instinctively and looked into his eyes.

She had never been this close to him. Right in his arms, the faint sweet smell of the Cologne could reach her nose. Now she came to know that instead of this man falling in love with her, it was actually her who had been head over heels for him.

"Mr. Brian Long," Hannah hesitated.

"Are you sure about this?" Brian stopped in front of the bedroom door and stared down at Hannah who was laying obediently in his arms, his eyes filled with lust. "You still have time to say no. If you say so, I will let you go now."

"No, that's not what I meant," Hannah replied immediately then bit down on her lip and continued, "I like you, but I'm not sure about your feelings for me." She swallowed hard nervously and a glimmer of hope flashed in her eyes, "I just want to know if you have ever liked me even for just a second."

Brian stared at Hannah with his dark eyes and remained silent. Instead of answering her question, he kicked the door open and laid her on the bed in darkness.

The closer Molly got to the villa, the more anxious and scared she felt. She was making every effort not to give in to the strong urge to turn around and run away. She dragged her feet slowly and finally she stepped inside, her heart beating fast. The moment she walked into the villa, she saw Brian carrying Hannah into his bedroom, a scene she had never expected. Dumbfounded, she just stared at them for a while, while mixed emotions started to dawn on her.

She didn't know how to react or what to feel. She smiled to herself self-mockingly. Molly closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down, but she failed. Her face felt so hot and tears started to well in her eyes but she looked up to fight it from falling. She couldn't stand staying in the villa anymore, not even for a second. The place was so repulsive that she felt like throwing up.

She took another deep breath and then clenched her fists and gritted her teeth. She wanted to leave, to run away without looking back. But she couldn't move even a fraction of an inch, as if something was grabbing her feet from below.

Her eyes looked red, and she couldn't stop sniffing. Her heart was filled with pain, anguish, and bitterness. When the woman's moan coming from the bedroom reached her ears, Molly couldn't bear it anymore. She turned around, but before she could take any step further, two guards in black blocked her way immediately.

"Get out of my way!" Molly yelled and gritted her teeth. Tears then started streaming down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Molly Long," the guard coldly informed her. "But you're not allowed to leave."

"Get out of my way," Molly repeated, slowly stressing each word but the guards did not move an inch. Molly then rushed forward, but the men in front of her were as hard as a wall. Instead of getting out of the villa, she was then led into a room with each of the guards grabbing one of her arms.

"Let me go!" Molly struggled to free herself, but both guards were so strong that she could replace no way to disentangle her arms and escape from them.

The bedroom door was ajar, and the constant moaning almost drove her mad. Every time she heard it, she felt her heart was being cut open by a sharp knife and stabbed multiple times. Molly gradually stopped struggling and just stood there, distressed, helpless, and weak. She couldn't see anything clearly now because her eyes were already filled with tears.

She had no idea how much time had passed until the moaning stopped. But immediately after, she heard a scream. Confused, Molly looked up. At that moment, Brian was just slowly walking down the stairs, dressed neatly.

Walking in a very slow pace, Brian stared at Molly, his heart throbbing in pain and desperation.

She would never know how he felt when he thought he might have slept with a woman who wasn't Molly, and how relieved he was when he found out the truth. 00
