Love Began with the First Meeting -
Chapter 698 A Trap (Part One)
Caring about someone too much blinds you sometimes that you often make the wrong decisions.

In the quiet night, Molly and Black Wolf walked slowly along the thorny bush by the river. Black Wolf had grown up in the Hell Forest so this was just a walk in the park for him. Along the way, he kept taking little steps happily in front of Molly and looking back every once in a while. The air was thick all around making it difficult for them to breathe and see that Molly had nearly stumbled over several times.
"Woof..." Black Wolf barked. In the darkness, its green eyes gave out a terrifying cold light, just like will-o'-the-wisp.
Molly's arms had been scratched by some tree branches and thorns, but she reached out anyway to stroke Black Wolf on its head. Gasping for breath, she said in a low voice, "Can we even get out of here?"
Black Wolf just blinked back at her and barked. Then he rubbed against Molly's legs and continued going forward.
As Molly followed Black Wolf who was leading her out of the woods, a woman in night vision goggles scuttled back and forth in the forest going unnoticed. She even knocked out two men in black who were in charge of guarding the forest.
She was carrying a handkerchief soaked in diethyl ether and she looked at the figures of Molly and Black Wolf who were slightly ahead of her. With a sneer on her face, she mumbled to herself, "Molly, I can't wait to watch you crumble."

Molly never rested her eyes anywhere; she was constantly looking around because she already had way too many scratches in her arms and hands. She was intensely relieved when they finally made it out of the woods alive. Looking back at the woods behind her, she felt her nose ached.
She squatted to pet Black Wolf's head as she cooed, "Big Guy, unfortunately, I can't take you with me..." She paused. Seeing that Black Wolf wouldn't stop rubbing against her leg, she added, "Go back, okay?" "Ooo..." Black Wolf lay on the ground as if to say he didn't want to leave yet.
Molly didn't know what to do. As she looked at the road in front of her and then at the dog, she gritted her teeth and said, "Good boy, go back. I'll come back, I promise and when I do, I'll have big bones with me!" "Woof..." Black Wolf barked but still didn't stand up.
"If you don't go back, I won't let you near me ever!" Molly didn't know what she was thinking by threatening a dog but she didn't know what else to do. She couldn't use her cellphone, so she didn't know what was going on with the Little Cutie, and she couldn't take Black Wolf with her because she wasn't sure how he would react if he saw Brian. Either way, Molly was at a loss.
To her surprise, Black Wolf was already standing up. It looked at Molly one last time as if to beg her before it turned around and walked back to the forest. It still kept looking back every now and then as it took a few more steps as if it was waiting for Molly to change her mind.
Molly bit her lips and withdrew her sight. She couldn't watch this any longer so she turned around, ran to the roadside and hailed a taxi to left.
Black Wolf saw everything because he was just sitting at the edge of the woods. He didn't turn around until the taxi disappeared then he barked and finally went in the woods.
Before taking a few steps, Black Wolf saw several men in black running towards him. The closest man in black frowned when he saw that it was just a dog. At that moment, a man's voice came through the intercom in his hand, "The two we found in the woods were drugged unconscious by diethyl ether."
The closest man continued to frown and when he saw the proud look on Black Wolf's face, he felt the urge to shoot it. He thought, 'Mr. Brian Long gave you to Mrs. Molly Long to protect her but you just helped her escape.' Gritting his teeth, he said to the intercom, "Have you found anything yet?" "No, only a master can do that."
The closest man in black took out his cellphone and made a call. "Boss, Mrs. Molly Long has escaped," he briefed Vincent as he looked around. Then he said, "Our enemy's quite skilled. I guess they did their research. It seemed like they already had people following Mrs. Molly Long before she even left the manor. They could foresee Mrs. Molly Long's leaving the manor as well as the route she would take..."
Vincent listened to him quietly as he watched Brian give orders to Harrow. He said slowly, "I'm getting more and more interested in the person."
The closest man still had his brows knitted, "Then what do we do now?"
"Just stay at the manor, I'll handle the rest," Vince said coldly. He hung up the phone and dialed a new number. "Check Mrs. Molly Long's call log today," he ordered.
"Okay, give me ten minutes."
"Hmm,"
Vincent said and hung up. He walked towards Brian and said, "Mr. Brian Long, I'm leaving. I have to do something."
"Hmm," Brian answered, without even looking at Vincent. He was discussing with Harrow and telling him what to do about Emp in the near future.

The smell of the abandoned factory was vomit-inducing. Even though Spark's mouth was sealed with black tape and he could only inhale through his nose, the stench still made him sick.
At the side were several men playing cards so nonchalantly as if the smell wasn't terrible. They played merrily occasionally giving Spark a look.
"You don't have the right to look at us like that," a man in black said coldly. "Mrs. Molly Long has trouble with Mr. Brian Long because of you. If there is someone to blame, it would be you. You should blame yourself for even seducing Mr. Brian Long's woman!" Spark was stunned when they spoke. For a while now, he'd been wondering who they all were and now he knew the answer. He suddenly remembered Molly didn't go to work today, so he became worried about her. He tried to wriggle free but he could only make a sound with his sealed mouth, "Ooo..."
Some of the men ignored him but the leading one sneered at him and barked, "Hey, you, behave if you don't want to get hurt."
"Ooo..." Spark widened his eyes. He'd been eerily calm earlier but now he was going crazy over worrying about Molly.
The leading man in black continued to play cards, ignoring him. After a while, someone's voice came through his ear piece when there were only few cards left in his hands. He gestured for his companions to stay quiet as he listened occasionally glancing at Spark. Suddenly, his eyes looked excited.
"Come on!" one of other men in black urged him.
The man looked at his cards and showed off. By the end, he spat and said, "Can't believe I lost again." As he spoke, he stood up and walked towards Spark who was still trying to struggle free. He raised his hand and slapped Spark. He said, "If you scream, I'll kill you!" Spark's head was struck aside. He felt blood running in his mouth. He swallowed the blood together with his saliva and gradually raised his head to look at the man who had just slapped him. He made another sound as he clenched his teeth.
"Let you go?" the man sneered and said coldly. "Do you really think we'll do that?" The man paused and said harshly, "I bet Mrs. Molly Long is worried about you. After all, she's going to Leave Mr. Brian now. I wonder whose fault that is. Surprise! It's yours! You two deserve to go to hell."
"Ahh!"
All of a sudden, he tore the tape off Spark's mouth.
Instinctively, Spark gasped in pain. After gathering himself for a moment, he glared at the man, gritted his teeth and spat, "What did Brian do to Molly ?"
"What?" the man looked down at Spark and said, "We're not involved in that but I'm sure she isn't being treated any better than you."
"Ahh! Release me!" Spark cried. Although he didn't really know what kind of things Brian was capable of, he still had a very good guess on what that was and he wasn't in the mood for that. He knew Brian would do what he said after their "intimate" interaction in the past few months. He screamed, "Release me!"
"Spark Su, a world renowned violinist... Spark... Oho..." the man sneered at Spark. Something terrible glinted in his eyes and an evil smile formed on his lips as he looked at Spark surreptitiously. He spoke slowly emphasizing each word, "I really want to know what happens when a violinist loses one of his hands?"
