Love Began with the First Meeting
Chapter 905 Mol's Sweet Marriage Life (Part Three)

Since she had thought of Daniel a moment ago, Molly was still somewhat sad when she got off the car. As soon as her feet touched the ground, she looked around by instinct. All of a sudden, she froze where she was standing.

Not far away before her eyes, there was Edgar, behind whom were Daniel and Cathy. Edgar first walked forward to shake hands with Brian. Then turning his head to look at Molly, he made fun of her by saying, "Well, we haven't seen each other for only two years. How can you become so dumb?"

Hearing Edgar's voice, Molly suddenly came to herself. She only glared at Edgar at what he had said. She walked forward to hold Daniel in her arms and then gave Cathy a hug too. She was too excited to utter a word.

"Sister Molly!" with a brave voice, Daniel called her name. His eyes turned red on his dark face.

"Sister Molly!" sweet and gentle as a flower, Cathy greeted her with a sweet smile on her face. Then she looked at Brian and greeted him, "Brother Brian!" Turning his head, Brian looked at Cathy like a pampering elder brother. He stroked her head and short hair softly and said, "You look much mature now!"

Hearing Brian's comment, Cathy raised her chin and pointed at the mark on her shoulder. In a proud expression on her face, she said, "Of course. I'm a major now!"

"You've done a good job!" proud of what she had achieved, Brian complimented her in an indifferent voice, which sounded neither cold nor warm. However, delight and joy were apparent in his eyes, as if he was looking at his own sister who had made great achievements. Standing in front of Brian and looking at him, Daniel no longer feared him as he once had before. He had enough self-confidence now. Seeing that Brian was praising Cathy, he said in a hurry, "My brother-in-law, I'm a major too!"

"I saw your shoulder mark as soon as I got off the cruiser," nodding his head towards him, Brian responded, while a faint smile appeared on his lips.

Hearing that, Daniel looked at Cathy complacently with stars in his eyes. Cathy pouted and snorted at him.

Seeing such expressions on the faces of the two of them, Billy and several privates who were standing on guard aside all opened their eyes wide, as if they could not believe that one of them was the instructor of the newly established military operation department, while the other was the director of Falcon Commando.

"All right. You will have enough time to talk about the old days," Edgar said with a smile on his face. "I grant the two of you leave this evening. You can relax."

As soon as his words faded away, Daniel and Cathy stood at attention and saluted to him, "Yes, Sir!"

"Okay, let's go. First of all, I'm taking you to the guest house," Edgar said, guiding them by himself. "In the army, the conditions of residents cannot be compared with the outside. But fortunately..." He paused, taking a glance at Brian and continued, "I know every one of you once had a tough time, so I'm not worried about that."

They walked towards the guest house while talking and laughing. In their past, they had undergone all kinds of things, tougher and at par with military exercises, and all of those experiences had subsided deep in their memories. For now, what they wanted was only to walk forward.

The night came with the sound of the bugle that convened them for the night training. Different from any other kind of troops, a special operation force always seemed to have endless subjects of training.

Among them, Falcon Commando had the most training subjects at night. However, since Daniel was granted leave this evening, his commando members had a rest too, which had never happened before. Lying on the training ground, everybody was looking at the black sky. All of a sudden, they realized that they hadn't watched the stars for a long time, not because they could not see them, but because they didn't have time to do that. Tonight, however, was different, they enjoyed watching the stars and the cold chill of the grass, for the meantime the burdens of training were lifted from their shoulders and they felt relieved and at peace.

Inside the guest house, laughter came through continuously. The men talked about military affairs and politics, while Molly and Cathy were cutting fruits at the small kitchen inside.

Cathy was still lively as she had been during Brian and Molly's wedding two years ago. She always thought life was full of hopes. In the special operation force dominated by males, she was not afraid of bearing hardships or being tired. While busy peeling the fruits, Cathy was telling unclassified funny stories in the army to Molly. Seeing the shining light in her eyes, Molly suddenly stopped what she was doing with her hands. "Cathy, thank you!" she said with emotion. "Hmm?" Confused at what was worth thanking for, Cathy blinked. She didn't understand what Molly meant by saying that. She wasn't able to catch up with her thoughts.

Molly was still looking at her. With a serious expression, she put the knife and the fruit down on the table and grasped Cathy's hands in hers. "Thank you... Thank you for your sacrifice at that time! If you didn't do that, I'm afraid I would never be able to see the beautiful world any longer..." Molly said seriously. She had learned the fact by accident when Sam had come to re-examine her eyes. She had been told that her eyes had come from a brave girl, who donated her eyes resolutely and determinedly for the sake of her family. Molly wondered whether she had been afraid that she would never see the world in her life considering the condition of her eyes. She was so grateful that because of her she can be able to watch every sunrise and sunset with each passing day.

Seeing the expression of guilt in Molly's eyes, Cathy waved her hand and said with a smile, "I have to thank you..."

"Hem?" Molly couldn't understand why Cathy said that.

Holding Molly's hands in hers and lowering her eyes, Cathy said, "Thank you for needing my eyes. Thanks to your need, my family was able to be safe." She raised her head to look at Molly with her eyes, which gave out a dazzling light. "Besides, because of that, I have known Brother Brian and you. With that, I am very happy and thankful. What's important is that I'm not blind now, and I can do what I loved doing. Plus, I can struggle for a better future together with the person I love."

While saying that, Cathy's eyes became increasingly bright and she even blushed. She took a glance towards the outside by accident, and Daniel's voice came through at the same time.

Both Cathy and Molly had never felt such peace within themselves before. Together they had found help and fortress with each other. They were both thankful for the wonderful life they were living at the moment. 000☐☐☐
