Ximena was at the party, and she was wearing a slim-fitting pink dress, which she designed and made herself. In an indifferent manner, she greeted and talked with people she knew. She was no longer the woman known only because she was with Aaron. Now, she had her own position in QY Ísland. Women from rich and powerful families, celebrities, as well as people who liked pursuing fashion surrounded and adored her.

With a faint smile, she responded to their questions. In spite of the huge block separating her and Aaron emotionally, she always put on a front for him in social occasions, such as this one.

Vivi and Zoey were at the said party as well, and they were chatting with several women who were the same age with them. Seeing how popular and respected Ximena was at the party, both of them were greatly annoyed by her, and it showed on their twisted faces. No matter how much the duo glared at her, Ximena completely them and continued with socializing with other people. The strength to deal with them was not in her that evening. Besides, she had been immune to such kind of thing since a long time ago. It stopped fazing her. "Miss Mo," Ken came to her at one point and said respectfully, "His Highness is receiving an important guest. He hopes you can go and meet them."

Hearing that, Ximena turned her head to look to the direction of Aaron. She saw a handsome yet seemingly distant man taking to Aaron. In her mind, Ximena noted how chiseled his face was. This added to her notion that the man looked like a Greek sculpture - perfect, but cold, hard, and not feeling at all.

Withdrawing her sight from the man, Ximena nodded to Ken. After apologizing to the person she had been talked to before Ken came to her, she walked towards Aaron together with Ken.

Seeing Ximena come to him, a faint smile appeared on Aaron's face. When she arrived by his side, Aaron turned to his guests and introduced her. "This is my..." he started, almost hesitating. "Female companion, Ximena Mo," he ended, proud of replaceing the right words. He didn't say that she was his woman because she no longer liked him calling her like that in public now. "This is Mrs. Long, Molly Xia," Aaron introduced the woman by the side of that handsome yet cold man to Ximena.

"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Long!" Ximena greeted her with a smile while looking at her eyes. Seeing the slight shyness on Molly's face as well as the happiness shining and spilling over her eyes, Ximena could not help but envy her.

Also with a smile on her face, Molly said, "Nice to meet you. It's okay to call me Molly."

"Great! Hello, Molly!" Ximena said still with a wide smile and a slight nod. In a neither intimate nor distant voice, she said, "You can call me Ximena."

The two women felt like old friends when they first met, though they didn't seem to be very passionate in talking with each other. But then, as their chat went deeper, Ximena gradually found that Molly was a kind of person she liked- a woman who looked meek but was trying her best to be strong. It was not until now that she got to know that the handsome yet cold man she saw a while ago was the boss of Grand Night Casino, Mr. Brian Long, a man Aaron had mentioned to her occasionally before.

There was an instance during the party where Molly helped Ximena deal with Vivi and Zoey's provocation and Brian helped her settle it. But aside from that, the reason why Brian chose to attend the party was to settle another thing. Two disciples of the God of Gamblers, one of whom was Chester the cheater, and the other one was was Hanson, who had been inaugurated as junior God of Gamblers, were going to play a game at the party. The game was taking place in a completely closed room. As a result, nobody else would be able watch the game between the two legends.

Since Brian's arrival, Aaron had accompanied him, which really showed that he held a high position in Aaron's circle. While waiting for the result of the game, Ximena took Molly away from the noisy party and went to the garden house the hotel provided for their guests to kill time. Molly looked at Ximena and then at Aaron, who was drinking outside together with Brian. As the arrogant and domineering behavior of Ximena at the wine party a moment ago came to her mind, Molly could not help but ask in curiosity, "Is there some story between the two of you?"

"Huh?" Ximena looked at Molly in confusion while putting the carnation in her hand into a vase. She couldn't understand what Molly meant.

Shrugging with a smile, Molly explained, "I just feel the atmosphere between the two of you is a bit...weird. But I'm sure that Mr. Leng loves you very much and you love him very much too."

Looking at Molly's innocent eyes, Ximena gradually forgot to respond. In the modern society, people are easily attracted by the material things, and would do anything for them. You could see it in their eyes-the lust for wealth, power. But Molly kept hers so innocent, despite being together with such a man as Brian. Ximena wondered how she managed to be like this.

"Mr. Brian Long loves you very much as well, I can see. Am I right?" Ximena asked back instead of answering Molly's question. The only possible reason she could imagine why Molly was able to keep such innocence was that Brian loved her so much that he built an unbreakable high wall to protect her.

However, hearing her question, Molly seemed to be stunned. She blinked and then hesitated to answer. After a few moments and a sigh, she said, "I don't know... Many things between us couldn't be figured out or made clear. I'm not able to describe our relationship precisely. We have been in a tangle for several years now. Our son is four years old, but we didn't get married until yesterday."

Hearing that, Ximena looked at Molly in astonishment. She could not believe what Molly said. Brian had looked so domineering and angry when he had confronted Zoey and Vivo that it seemed like he couldn't be appeased unless he killed Zoey. He didn't care about whether Molly was right or wrong. He only wanted to protect her. It seemed that he loved her dearly. Ximena couldn't imagine that they were a newly married couple and that they had only gotten married yesterday.

Molly found that Ximena was confused by her words. With a faint smile on her face, she said,"Sometimes things change too fast for me to cope with. We get together mostly for the sake of our child. He is not willing to give up the child, and I don't want to leave my son either. As a result, we have no other choice but be together."

"But... as far as I can see, it is not true for Mr. Brian Long. He seems to enjoy being together with you very much!" Ximena said, expressing her own observation.
