Aaron stared at Ximena for quite a long time, without responding to her. His eyes were deep and bottomless. What she had proposed was a gamble that neither of them was sure to win. They were about to gamble for a family. If they won, they would get to live their lives Ximena waited for his response patiently. Both of them understood that it would be extremely difficult for them to start a family. However, both of them were eager for a family of their own. Perhaps in the near future, they would start a family with different people, but in this moment, they only had each other. "Okay..." Aaron said, without showing any emotion. He gently rotated the wine glass in his hand, making the liquid inside twirl. He raised the glass and took a sip of it. The mellow wine spread throughout his mouth and slowly slid into his throat; it was bitter.

He sneered at himself. 'Aaron, you're more likely to lose this gamble, but you love seeing her bargain with you in such an arrogant manner even though it would be impossible for her to escape in the end.'

Ximena knew what Aaron was thinking. Humans were such strange creatures. Even though they could foresee the outcome, they would sometimes choose to turn a blind eye towards that truth. That was exactly what Ximena was doing right now. Perhaps, she was attempting to benumb herself this way.

Raising her wine glass casually, she said, "This is such a nice set-up. Aren't there any special surprises?" Her eyes shone brightly as she taunted him. She had a sip of the wine, and its soft taste satisfied her. She enjoyed it.

Aaron smirked at her remark and nodded to the manager, who was standing a few meters away from them, waiting for any orders from Aaron. The manager ordered something to the waiter standing next to him. The woman on the piano played the last note of the melody, and got up from the seat.

Aaron walked elegantly towards the piano. He sat down in front of it and glanced at Ximena with his deep-set eyes. He said to her, "I'm afraid that gems and jewelry are not enough to please you anymore." He paused and his sight became increasingly deep. "There is nothing in the whole of QY Island that I'm not able to do for you, but this is something I have never done for anybody," he said with a faint smile at the corners of his lips. "This is Only Because of You..."

A sweet melody arose from the piano as his fingers ran along the keys effortlessly. The silvery prelude sounded a little sorrowful, as if the music was sprouting from the bottom of his heart and penetrating Ximena's.

"I will not make the same mistake we made before, I will not make myself feel so distressed again..."

Aaron's deep, magnetic voice accompanied the sweet melody of the piano. His voice was pleasant to listen to. At that moment, as he sang the slow sad song, the listeners could do nothing but let their minds wander with his voice.

"I will not destroy your way of being strong, even though you fall down to rise again. I only need to stand behind you and watch you move forward, so as to get closer to the end. Only because of you, I've learned how to love someone. Only because of you, I know about the silent gaze. Only because of you, I replace it difficult to believe in myself. Only because of you, the world seems to have stopped running. Only because of you..."

Aaron was immersed in the song. Ximena stared at him, and his eyes met hers once in a while. As she listened to the lyrics, her hand with the wine glass froze mid-air, For a moment, she forgot about everything else in the world. There was just one thing in her eyes and on her mind Aaron. He was singing only for her, without caring about anything else. It really didn't seem like something he would do. He completely ignored Ximena's look of surprise and the bewildered look of the restaurant staff.

Meanwhile, Aaron stayed calm. Looking at Ximena with his deep eyes, he went on singing, "Because of you, I fear I will get lost. I've learned to disguise before my question is found out. Because of you, I don't know how to accept anyone else. All is because of you..." As his voice slowly faded, his slender fingers ran through the piano keys, creating the last notes of the beautiful melody. The song came to an end slowly and perfectly. There was deathly stillness all around.

Everybody were stunned by Aaron's unusual confession. They all looked at him with a blank expression. None of them could have imagined that the man who controlled the fate of QY Island would sing his feelings in such a humble way.

Ximena put the glass of wine on the table. She stared at Aaron, a mix of extremely complicated emotions in her eyes. Her feelings were too complicated that she could not tell what she was thinking at that moment. She wanted to escape the truth, while she also wanted to accept it wholeheartedly.

While her mind was still in a mess, the waiter, who had been told something earlier by the manager, went to Aaron with a bunch of roses. Aaron took the roses from him and walked towards Ximena. As he handed the bunch of roses to her, he said slowly, "The story of the roses seems a bit too pessimistic. Even though the prince was fascinated by the rugosa rose for a while, he could never abandon the multiflora rose. And that's because... the multiflora rose was the one he wanted to spend his whole life with."

Ximena's pupils dilated as she understood the meaning of his words.
