Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 297: You just heart that bitch
After dinner, Hector Rogers and Eloise Thompson walked out of the hotel hand in hand.
"I'll go and bring the car over."
"Good."
Watching Hector Rogers head towards the car park, Eloise Thompson stuck her hands in her trench coat pockets and lowered her head to stare boredly at her toes. "Stop!"
Robbie Gardner was driving intently when a sudden noise in his ear startled him into slamming on the brakes.
Shouting -
The tyres make a harsh sound against the ground.
"What are you doing?" Robbie Gardner turned her head and glared in annoyance at Agnes Thompson in the passenger seat.
Agnes Thompson ignored his anger and stared straight out of the car.
"What are you looking at?"
Robbie Gardner followed her line of sight.
At the sight of the person standing on the side of the road, the subconscious spoke, "Eloise?"
Agnes Thompson heard this and shouted, "Good for you Robbie Gardner, you recognise it from so far away, you tell me! Do you still have that bitch on your mind?" "What are you babbling about?" Robbie Gardner was a little impatient.
"Robbie Gardner, what kind of attitude is that?" Agnes Thompson burst into tears, "I think you still have that bitch on your mind, why else are you so impatient with me now?"
Robbie Gardner had a headache. Agnes Thompson had been having mood swings for some time now, whether it was her pregnancy or something else, crying at the drop of a hat and always saying he couldn't get Eloise Thompson out of his mind.
Once or twice he was able to coax her patiently, but more often he just found her irrational and annoying.
Robbie Gardner took a deep breath, fought back the irritation that filled her, and coaxed, "Agnes, will you stop thinking about it all the time? We're getting married, we're having a baby, what the hell are you afraid of?"
Agnes Thompson whimpered, "I was afraid you'd go back to that bitch."
In the end, it is always unsettling to rob by any means necessary.
"How could I possibly go back to her?"
Even if he wanted to, Eloise Thompson would have to be willing.
"Really?" Agnes Thompson stopped crying and stared at him.
"Really."
Afraid she still didn't believe her, Robbie Gardner held up her hand in a swearing gesture, "If I lie, I'll ..."
"I believe you." Agnes Thompson rushed to cover his mouth in fear of his poisonous oath.
It was the way to end her suspicions every time.
Robbie Gardner was exhausted but had to smile and say, "Don't think about it anymore, it's hard for me to see you cry." "Got it."
Agnes Thompson was content to die down at this point, but was still staring at Eloise Thompson, who was not far away. "Why is she back?"
Just because she was missing, Rupert Rogers had her dad beaten up and couldn't get out of bed for over a week.
To this day it is still occasionally uncomfortable.
It's all thanks to that bitch.
The more Agnes Thompson thought about it, the angrier she became, and she turned to Robbie Gardner and said, "Let's go over there." "Go over there and do what?" Robbie Gardner didn't want to toss up any more trouble, he was really scared of the Rogers family. "Go over there when I tell you to."
She was being unreasonable again, and Robbie Gardner moved his mouth to say something, but in the end said nothing.
She was about to do as she said and pull over when suddenly a car drove up and pulled up next to Eloise Thompson. "Damn."
Seeing Eloise Thompson get into her car, Agnes Thompson couldn't help but curse.
Robbie Gardner finally relented, "Agnes, don't forget you're carrying a baby, pay attention to the fetus."
His tone was not very nice and dripped with reprimand.
Agnes Thompson couldn't at once. She started yelling again, "Robbie Gardner, what? All I did was call that bitch a name and you're hurt?" "Will you stop bringing everything up on her?" Robbie Gardner held his breath.
"You see you just heart that bitch!"
Agnes Thompson "wailed" again, as if he had done something wrong to her.
Robbie Gardner wanted to get angry, to get riled up, but thinking of the baby in her belly, he finally held back and coaxed her nicely.
...
"Take you somewhere."
As soon as Eloise Thompson got on board, Hector Rogers said.
"Where to?" Eloise Thompson asked subconsciously.
"We'll see when we go."
The black car pulled out of the city and drove up the coastal road.
Eloise Thompson looked out the window at the scenery whizzing by and turned her head to the man in the driver's seat, "Going to the beach?" Instead of a direct answer, Hector Rogers said, "We'll see when we get there."
It's so obvious, why is he still selling out?
Eloise Thompson smiled helplessly and didn't ask any more questions.
As she said, they did come to the beach, only a little differently.
The car pulled up in front of a beach house and Eloise Thompson probed it with a small frown.
Hector Rogers got out of the car first and went around to the other side to help her open the door. Eloise Thompson got out of the car and kept her eyes on the brightly lit cottage in front of her.
"Where is this?" Eloise Thompson turned her head to look at Hector Rogers.
Without a word, Hector Rogers took her hand and headed for the cottage.
Eloise Thompson froze and followed him.
The villa is large, built on the seafront, with a simple and atmospheric décor that is clean and bright.
Eloise Thompson took an instant liking to it.
"Is this your house too?" Eloise Thompson asked.
"No."
Unexpected answers.
Eloise Thompson was anxious, "If not how did you bring me in? This is breaking and entering!"
With that, she was about to pull him out.
"Eloise," Hector Rogers said, pulling her to a halt instead.
Eloise Thompson turned around and looked at him confused.
Hector Rogers gazed deeply at her, a light smile tugging at the corners of his lips, and said, "This is your house."
Eloise Thompson's eyes slowly widened with amazement written all over them... her house?
"Like it?" He asked.
"No." Eloise Thompson was a little unresponsive, "Now it's not whether I like it or not, it's what's going on with this house?"
She can't afford a house like this, can...
"You gave it to me?" Eloise Thompson asked.
Hector Rogers but smiles.
"I can't take it." Eloise Thompson said, "I know you have money, but you can't waste it like that, just buying a villa and giving it away."
"You are my future wife."
A single word made Eloise Thompson choke in a moment.
Hector Rogers looked at her seriously and said, word for word, "Eloise, this is a home that belongs to you and me and Solomon and the children to come. Rather than me giving it to you, it's a home I want to build with you." Want to cry.
Growing up with divorced parents and a seriously ill bedridden mother, she desperately wanted a happy, family of her own.
His words, no doubt, struck at the most vulnerable spot in her heart.
Eloise Thompson turned her head sideways and pursed the corners of her lips, pushing back the tears hard enough to squeeze out a smile and joked, "Is that a proposal?"
"Yes."
"That's too sloppy." Eloise Thompson deliberately pretended to be dissatisfied, "No flowers, no ring, it's not even a proposal."
"You want flowers? Want a ring?"
"Of course. A proposal, it has to be formal."
"Okay then." Hector Rogers pulled out his phone.
"What do you want?" Eloise Thompson asked hastily.
"Have flowers sent over."
Hector Rogers said as he made the call.
"No need." Eloise Thompson squeezed his hand and said with a big smile, "I love this house."
