Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 342: Leaning down to kiss her
When she came out, Aisly had mixed feelings.
I didn't expect that colleagues who spent time together would say such things behind their backs without mercy. It seems that she also has to thank this incident for letting her see their true colours. In future, just colleagues, friends forget it.
Aisly wasn't too upset, but she would have reservations about treating these people in the future.
Last night she had a rare night of indulgence and drank a little too much, and her temples still throb to this day.
Aisly took the water and slapped it on her face, trying to hook the corners of her mouth again until her face didn't look so bad before she perked up and went back to work.
"Where have you been, the head nurse just came over looking for you, go to her office for a moment." A colleague saw her return and said to her.
Aisly nodded and walked over and knocked on the door, "Head Nurse, you wanted to see me?"
"Yes, there is a shortage of staff in the department next door and I'm going to transfer you there to help, you're okay with that, right?" The head nurse was quite nice and her voice was gentle. Aisly froze for a moment and shook her head, "No comment."
"That's good," the head nurse sighed and said as if she had no choice, "Aisly, I'm not going to hide it, transferring you there, mainly because those rumours don't get around too well and I'm sure you're not interested in working, so go and hide for a bit if you can."
"I understand, thank you matron." Aisly said calmly, when in fact she knew in her heart that saying she was going to hide from the rumours was a disguised way of separating her from Rupert.
That was fine, she had a clear conscience and didn't care about the words.
It's just that it's uncomfortable to be pointed at, judged and speculated on by everyone, and she's not a masochist.
...
For several days in a row, Rupert did not see Aisly and the person who gave the injection changed to the head nurse.
Once or twice it was fine, but every time it happened, Rupert couldn't help but wonder a little, since he had been in charge of Aisly since he came to the hospital.
Isn't it a bit irresponsible to change people all of a sudden, at least I'm still her patient, I didn't even come to tell me, sheesh.
Mr Rupert's eyes were empty, and he was thinking seriously about a rare event.
The head nurse bent down to give him the injection and was surprised that this master tease was so quiet and couldn't help but look up at him several times.
Unfortunately Rupert didn't even notice.
The head nurse was a little resentful and used a deliberate amount of force when pulling out the needle.
Rupert hissed, his eyes finally going to her.
"I'm sorry, Mr Rupert, for hurting you." The head nurse's voice was unusually delicate and somewhat dolefully alarmed.
Rupert had seen a lot of people and could not understand this trick, but he did not want to expose it, he just smiled and said generously, "No problem, let me ask you something, why have I not seen Aisly for the past two days?" When she heard him ask for news about Aisly, the head nurse squeezed her palm but still smiled sweetly, "Aisly, she's gone to help in another department."
"Oh, so." Rupert was thoughtful.
The head nurse smiled and asked, "Mr Rupert, do you need anything else?"
"Nope, hard work, you're out." Rupert waved his hand and closed his eyes slightly, as if he was ready to rest.
The head nurse's smile faltered and, somewhat reluctantly, she took her things and left.
I thought this Mr Rupert would flirt with anyone, but when it comes to her, it's a different story.
...
Bali.
On the beach chair, there was a handsome man with a golden proportion, just the right amount of abs, wheat-coloured muscles. skin, all of which you can't help but reach out and touch.
Many people peeked over, guessing what kind of amazing face the man under those sunglasses had.
Hector was oblivious to these sightings, his eyes focused on the large and small children playing happily in the water, the sound of crisp laughter came over from time to time, he could not help but hook his lips, at once, a sucking sound came from around.
Solomon loves the water and when he sees the sea, he goes into the water like a puppy, waving his little hands for Eloise to play with him.
The sea breeze, the turquoise water, Solomon's lovely smiling face ... Eloise suddenly felt that all the gloom in her heart had been lifted. Any sadness, any grief, it's not a problem as long as Solomon is there.
Eloise suddenly figured out that she didn't need to get upset about people who didn't matter, she had Solomon Bay, with him, just fine. The mood was instantly brightened when Solomon fell in the water again in a butt squat and got up on his own without crying or laughing. "Solomon, well let's go back and get some rest, Daddy must be bored of waiting."
When Solomon came running over, Eloise touched his clothes, which were indeed soaked, and she hugged Solomon and walked towards Hector.
Hector had prepared a large bath towel and when Eloise came over, he draped it over the two of them, causing Solomon to giggle as he was wrapped up in the towel.
"Oops, we can't even see Solomon." Eloise helped him hold it away so his face was exposed, then took the drink Hector handed her and fed it to Solomon. Hector said, "You let him drink it himself."
Eloise looked over and with Solomon clutching the bath towel in both of his chubby paws, said, "It's okay, I'll feed him."
Just as I finished, a straw was brought to my mouth.
Eloise looked to Hector in surprise, who smiled slightly and handed the drink forward again, "Drink."
Eloise takes a sip with a straw in her mouth.
This family of three made the people around the beach envious enough.
Just feeding one to the other, finishing a glass of juice, Eloise's face, I don't know if it was the sun or her shyness, but in any case it had turned pink.
A drop of water slid down her cheek and into her slender collarbone.
Hector's eyes darkened and he raised his hand, running it through her wet hair and ruffling a strand that had stuck to her cheek, saying, "You can't play, you've only just recuperated and can't soak in the water for too long." "Yeah." Eloise nodded in agreement, she'd had about as much fun as she could have, "So get changed and go to dinner."
"Yeah, yeah." Solomon clapped his little hands and cheered.
Hector picked him up and the family went back to the hotel.
Afraid that Solomon would catch cold, Eloise took Solomon to the bathroom first, ran the water for him to bathe himself, and then turned to come out, only to be instantly, crushed against the wall by a tall figure. "Hector!" said Eloise, startled.
Hector's gaze was dull, sweeping from her face inch by inch and slowly sliding back down.
Eloise had no idea how seductive she looked wrapped in a bath towel with her long black hair, and Hector's throat twitched as he leaned in and kissed Eloise on the lips.
