Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 358: It's me who got you into trouble
The car had sped up to a hundred yards, but he still seemed unsatisfied and stepped on the accelerator with more force.
At this moment, Eloise couldn't have been more upset, as she was the one who started the whole thing, and it wasn't right for Alumni to take the blame. All she could do was to think to herself and hope that Hector would come over soon.
Perhaps her prayers had worked and just at the same time a familiar figure appeared and before she could say anything, she was hugged in the arms. The familiar scent of Hector's body lingered on the tip of her nose and she felt more at ease than ever before.
Seeing this flustered look on her face, Hector's heart melted and he wanted to rub her into his body.
It was Eloise who, in a whirlwind of realisation, pushed Hector away and said busily, "Hector, how many men have you brought with you? It's a bit of a problem." Hector realised something was wrong and asked in a deep voice, "What's wrong and why do you need people?"
This is not the time to explain this, and Eloise will have to keep it short.
"We just met with a client, the client guy made a move on me and I kicked him, Alumni got into a fight with them to protect me, you rush to help him."
Hector frowned when he heard her say that the client had moved his hand, and when she finished, he couldn't help but ask, "What about you? Are you all right?" Eloise shook her head desperately, "I'm fine, Alumni is still in there, go and help him."
Her tone was laced with a bit of anxiety, fearing that if Hector was late and something happened to Alumni, then her own grievances would run deep.
Although she said she was fine, Hector couldn't be reassured and dragged her back and forth several times to make sure she was okay.
At the sight of his nervousness, Eloise's heart swelled with warmth for no apparent reason.
When he'd finished checking, Eloise prodded again, "Hector, are you sure you're not going to help Alumni? I'm afraid ..."
In fact, Eloise hadn't noticed that long before she said this, Hector had passed a scowl to Thomas, who had complied and had gone in to help.
So Hector wasn't worried at all, only to see him say nonchalantly, "Is this still my Eloise? To be so worried for another man and not even care about the husband in front of you."
Seeing that he was actually jealous made Eloise cry, "Hector what are you talking about, Alumni is fighting them because of me, if I leave him alone it would be injustice, you wouldn't want me to be like that would you?"
In fact, Hector was just teasing her with a joke, but when he saw her like this, he was not in the least bit angry.
In public, she couldn't help but blush in the face of Hector's sudden and ambiguous gesture ...
She was so cute in her shyness that Hector resisted the urge to kiss her, pinched her face and whispered, "Don't worry, I've already let Thomas in, so don't worry about it, and I'll have to call the police now, it's better to let the police sort this sort of thing out than for us to sort it out in private."
Hearing him say that, Eloise couldn't help but feel chagrined that she hadn't thought of calling the police, how stupid she had been.
As if he could read her thoughts, Hector whispered reassuringly, "It's okay, just think of me if you're in danger, I'll take care of the rest."
After saying that, he called the police.
Hearing his words, Eloise felt safer than ever.
It was as if no matter what happened, even if the sky fell, this man at her side would help hold her up.
Do not allow her to be harmed in the slightest.
Meanwhile, the box was already in chaos, only to see a group of sturdy bodyguards in black uniforms, punching and kicking around the man in the middle.
The man in the middle is none other than Egbert.
He was a gentleman and would never have gotten into a fight, so he ostensibly stalled the men and told Eloise to run, but in reality he was just getting beaten up.
It was good that the men caught one and beat it to death, because at least Eloise got out.
Egbert tugged a little feebly at the corner of his mouth, as long as she was okay.
Suddenly, the door of the compartment was kicked open. Mr true glanced over with some dissatisfaction at this unfriendly way of opening the door.
"Who are you and what do you want by barging in?"
Mr true's tone was very nonchalant, no matter who it was, as long as they were spilling their guts on their own turf anyway, he could make that person come in standing up and go out lying down. Thomas grimaced and grunted softly, "The one who made you cry and beg for mercy."
After saying that, he moved straight on.
Thomas is very skilled, and although the bodyguards have brute strength, they are not as good as Thomas, who has skill.
Having found a new target and with Egbert half beaten to death, the bouncers simply left him alone and turned their full attention to Thomas.
Thomas looked coldly at the men in front of him and sneered with disdain, but in a few moments, the two sides were fighting.
The bodyguards had broken their arms before he could make a move and were lying there unable to move at all.
Those bodyguards couldn't use their brute strength, so they actually had little fighting power, and Thomas put down a group of them in three or two blows.
The bodyguards lay wailing on the ground, the aura they had just had completely invisible.
Mr true looked at the men and was in a hurry, "Get up, you bunch of losers, you can't even beat one man, get up and fight."
As soon as the words were spoken, a sound of footsteps was heard. Mr true had thought that Thomas had brought someone with him, but instead it was the police who appeared. "Don't move, all crouch down, who just called the police."
Hector walked in unhurriedly behind the police, "I'm the one who called the police, these people were looking for a gap and we were defending ourselves."
The police heard what Mr true said when they came in, so now they can't even jump into the river.
Just as Mr true was about to say something, he was taken away directly by the police.
And with that, the matter was finally settled.
At this moment, Egbert's situation is not good, as his body is covered in wounds and blood is still seeping from many places.
Eloise looked at him with an apologetic look on her face and said, "Alumni, I'm sorry I got you into this."
Egbert shook his head breathlessly, signalling that he was fine.
Hector rushed over and said, "This is not the time to talk about that, it's better to take it to the hospital first."
After saying this, Thomas, who was on one side, came up and carried Egbert to the car, and the party dared not delay and rushed to the hospital.
