Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 360: She's My Woman
By the time they arrived home together, it was late.
Remembering Solomon, Eloise hurriedly stopped the maid and said, "Where's Solomon?"
The maid busied herself with a reply, "Already asleep."
Perhaps it was in the nature of being a mother that she didn't feel comfortable not checking on her own children even if they were asleep, so she gave Hector a look and planned to go to Solomon's room. He took Eloise by the hand and went to his room.
Although he said he was carrying it, he actually controlled the force to ensure that Eloise wasn't uncomfortable as a result.
Eloise was a little upset at being carried by him and said, "Hector, what are you doing? I'm going to go see if Solomon is asleep."
"The maids all said they were asleep, they were hired to take care of the children, they certainly wouldn't lie to us, and you should keep me company." He looked at her with some resignation, as if someone had neglected him. Eloise was in tears, not expecting Hector to be jealous of her son, so she said, "Solomon is still a child and I'm his mother, so it's okay for me to visit him. You're the one who's jealous of your own son."
Hector could not deny this, ignoring the second half of her sentence, seemingly acquiescing to the fact that he was jealous, and simply catching the first half, "He's old enough to learn to be on his own, there's no reason why you should be doing everything for him at this age."
Eloise was about to retort, but was gagged by Hector's sudden kiss.
That way, she had no reason to blame him for being jealous anymore.
The night is cool as water, and the three parts of the moonlight outside the window rage through the city, covering the day's noise and leaving only a silence.
The next day was another sunny day, and before the sun came out early in the morning, there was a lot of noise at the door.
I don't have to think about it, but it must be the little one in the house who is up early. Children are naturally rambunctious and can't be bothered to get up at this hour.
Eloise looks at the sleeping man beside her and, hearing the noise outside, shakes her head a little helplessly, thinking that Solomon must be anxious as he can't replace himself.
While she was trying to replace a way to get out and replace Solomon, the door was knocked hard twice and then pushed open and Solomon rushed in, pointing at Hector with a sulky face, "Bad daddy, why are you stealing my mommy!" When he yelled at him, Hector had also woken up. He was still a little upset at being woken up, but when he saw that it was his own son, he lost his temper instantly.
The maid who was chasing after him on one side also said with an apologetic face, "Prince, Eloise, I ..."
Eloise waved her hand, indicating that she was not to blame for this, and then turned to Solomon, "Come here, come to Mummy."
He thought he would just run over, but Solomon was not satisfied and climbed right on top of Hector, causing him to get up.
Seeing his domineering look, Hector was dumbfounded to see how similar this look was to his own childhood.
Solomon, however, acted as if he didn't see him, "Daddy is so bad, I want to sleep with mummy."
When he finished he lay down where Hector had just been lying and found a comfortable position to nestle into.
Hector could do nothing but get up and get dressed as he was so ravaged and sleepy.
Looking at Solomon with a smug look on her face, Eloise was a little helpless, so she had to put her arm around him and whisper, "Well, it's still early, so you can sleep a little longer."
In fact, Eloise herself is very tired. She is still tired from yesterday and wakes up so early, her head feels like it weighs a thousand pounds and her eyelids are already heavy.
After saying this, she drifted off to sleep a little.
Solomon had woken up but seeing that Eloise had fallen asleep, plus the fact that he really hadn't slept enough either, he went back to sleep.
Hector lamented the speed with which the mother and son fell asleep and couldn't help but lose his smile.
At that moment the maid at the door whispered, "Prince, breakfast is ready."
Hector made a gesture of silence, tiptoed into his clothes and went out.
By the time he got to the table, Rupert was already sitting there reading the newspaper, and seeing his appearance, he couldn't help but tease, "Look at you now, you've had a spring in your step all day, people who don't know think our Rogers. Group stock is up in the sky."
Hector raised an eyebrow, "That's a lot better than stocks going through the roof." Then with another look at him, he continued, "When are you going to have your cast removed?"
Hearing his question, Rupert put down the paper, looked at his injury and said, "Soon, just in a couple of days, but I have to go to the office today, something came up."
Hearing him say he was going to the office, Hector froze for a moment, then nodded and took a sip of milk.
Rupert had already eaten his breakfast, so naturally he didn't need to eat again, and when he saw him eating it, he was busy continuing, "I'm going to catch a ride over to you later, so hurry up and eat."
Hector nodded, finished his breakfast in silence and the two men left the house together.
When we got to the road, Rupert took the initiative to talk about that matter abroad, purposely lowering his voice and saying, "Part of the chip's information has been sent this way, and it should arrive this afternoon. But those people still seem to be looking for it, I told He Shu Han to divert his attention for now, but I'm afraid that we'll replace out the news soon, and then I'm afraid that trouble will come to us."
Although he lowered his voice, the driver in the front seat was actually concentrating on driving and didn't turn his attention away.
Hector was open about this, "It's a small thing, am I afraid?"
After all, he has been in the mall for so many years, this is something he doesn't even care about, plus he has the ability to do so, so he just has an indifferent attitude about it. Rupert saw his look and, fearing that he would not take it seriously, hurriedly added, "I'm not afraid, but you can't be the same as before now that you're dragging your family around."
It makes sense that it would be difficult to touch Hector, but it would be much easier to touch his wife and children.
Hector's mind wandered back to what had happened yesterday. It was just a guy with a little bit of money who had caught Eloise red-handed, and if it had been the gang instead, the problem would have been more than that. She is her own woman and she must be protected by herself to do so.
With that in mind, Hector nodded, "We'll talk about this later, I'll keep it in mind."
Rupert was relieved to hear him say this. He had often heard that men become more responsible when they have a family, but now he was convinced.
He looked over at Hector and shook his head a little helplessly.
