Love Comes To Me
Chapter 374: Tracking

At this moment, Marian was meeting Hall and Ramm in the conference room, and the four of them were talking about things in a tense atmosphere.

Hall took a sip of water and said heavily, "We can already confirm that three groups of people are arriving in the city one after another, and relatively speaking, we are relatively passive."

This situation was naturally clear to Hector, who looked down and pondered for a moment before instructing, "Hall, you and Ramm should keep an eye on those people, and then attack them individually to prevent them from joining forces." The only way to avoid being led by their noses was to turn passivity into initiative.

Hall and Ramm also understood the importance of the matter, and the two of them looked at each other before nodding their heads to show that they had understood.

It was an hour later before they had finally sorted everything out and worked out how to deal with it.

It was then that Hector turned to Marian and said, "You should have it all figured out, so in that case, go back to the department and watch over Eloise."

Although she was reluctant, she nodded as Hector himself had said so.

When she got back to the department, where was Eloise?

At first she thought that Eloise had gone for a meal or a drink or was in the bathroom, but after waiting for nearly 20 minutes she realised that something was wrong. It was likely that Eloise had run off during the time she had just gone to the conference room.

Marian's face became even more impatient as she thought of this.

Eloise had only just arrived at the café where she was to talk because of the traffic.

Not far behind where she had parked, she saw a black car.

Inside the car was a man in a high-end suit and a man who looked like a henchman.

The henchman reported in a low voice, "Master, I recently found out that this woman is very close to the Rogers Group and seems to have an extraordinary relationship."

The man took off his sunglasses at his words, then smiled evilly and coldly before saying, "If we capture her, can we threaten Hector?"

The man froze, not knowing how to answer, and only after a moment said, "Maybe."

When he heard this, the man who had just been so calm and collected instantly grimaced and said, "You're not sure? I want a definite answer. I always do things without fail. You've been with me for so long, don't you know that?" His words frightened his men so much that they did not dare to breathe, sweating coldly, and only after a moment did they falter and say, "Ming ... understands, master."

At this moment, Eloise was talking to the client about the specifics of the project, and after about half an hour or so, most of the things were sorted out.

At that moment, Eloise's mobile phone rang, and when she looked at it, it was Marian calling.

She was upset at the name, but after all, it was business, so she answered the phone.

"Where are you?" Marian's voice was still cold and unemotional.

Eloise didn't like her questioning tone, but thinking that she had been sent by Hector to protect her after all, she said, "I'm in the Upper Island Coffee Room, first floor booth." Marian had thought she was only near the office, but she hadn't expected to go this far, so her tone was even more unkind, "Then wait there."

Her commanding tone made Eloise even more upset, so she hung up the phone and ignored Marian's words.

She turned to her client and said, "Patriarch Wallace, do you have any other questions? If there are no questions, we'll sign off."

The man, Patriarch Wallace, looked over the proposal again and nodded when he was sure there were no problems.

Both parties signed, shook hands and said "happy working together".

Eloise breathed a long sigh of relief that it was finally settled and that she could go back to her manager straight away.

After all, she was the second party, so Eloise politely escorted her client out the door.

As she stood in front of the cafe, she accidentally caught a glimpse of the car out of the corner of her eye.

What a strange thing, that car had followed her when she had just arrived, how come it was still there now and showed no sign of leaving.

And... had even forgotten to turn off the headlights, so it looked like there was someone in that car.

She had thought she was overthinking it, but she didn't know what was going on, but a wave of unease gripped her, and she always felt that the car was not that simple. It was better to leave quickly.

Because the car was so close to her car, she simply gave up on the idea of driving back and walked straight down the street.

What she didn't expect was that all her unease would turn out to be true at this moment, and the car slowly followed her after a few steps.

Eloise felt bad, she hadn't thought she'd run into something so unlucky, and now she knew for sure that the car was indeed following her.

She pretended to look at the scenery and saw that the car was still following closely behind her.

Unsure of the road ahead and not knowing what the occupants of the car wanted, Eloise turned into a clothing shop on the side of the road in a hurry.

She pretended to pick out a dress while watching the occupants of the car closely.

When the man in the car noticed her entering the shop, he also got out of the car and headed straight for the shop.

Eloise's heart thudded with fear, but she forced herself to remain calm and then said to the shop assistant, "Take those two dresses down, I need to try them on."

Naturally, the shop assistant was happy to do so and took them off for her.

To her surprise, Eloise turned a corner in the shop, dropped the clothes and ran out the back door.

It turned out that she had not only looked at the car, but also observed the shop and found a fitting room near the back door, so she used the excuse of trying on clothes to run out the back door.

The two men waited for about ten minutes and when they realised that Eloise had not come out, they felt bad and with a glance at each other they rushed to the fitting room.

There was no one inside.

The man in the sunglasses sneered and said, "I didn't expect this woman to be so clever." The man in sunglasses sneered and said, "I didn't expect this woman to be so clever." He then turned to his man and said, "You go after her." As if that wasn't enough, he dialed the phone and said coldly, "Come here, all of you, and go and get her."

Marian had arrived at Upper Island Coffee as fast as she could, but to her surprise, there was no sign of Eloise in the box on the first floor, and she had searched all over the cafe.

She only saw her face sink instantly.
