Love Comes To Me
Chapter 388: This woman doesn't want to live

To prevent the man from doing anything, the police escorted him down.

Looking at the smile on the man's face, Rupert's heart panicked for no reason.

Thinking that Aisly had also gone to the previous villa at noon, he became even more worried and dialled Aisly's number, but it was always unanswered.

As luck would have it, something bad had happened.

An hour passes and Rupert's phone rings. He shakily taps on the picture on the text message screen and replaces that the person in the picture is none other than Aisly.

She was tied to a chair, her mouth was gagged with a cloth and there was a trace of blood at the corner of her mouth, and she was staring ahead with a terrified look on her face. Rupert clenched his fist and blamed himself for what would have happened if only he had told her earlier.

But there was no pill of regret to be bought, and then the phone rang again, and the man sent another message.

Ask her to live and release the man you have captured.

Seeing the message, Rupert's face instantly changed, how much effort they had gone through to capture the mercenary, if they just let him go, wouldn't that be letting the tiger go?

For a moment he hesitated, Aisly was the one he wanted to save, but the condition was a bit...

Hector saw the change in Rupert's mood and went to his side and asked, "What's wrong? But what happened?"

Rupert sniffed and handed his phone to Hector, who couldn't help but frown as well when he saw what was on it.

He hadn't expected them to put their hands on Aisly, it should be that Aisly and Rupert had gotten a little closer and they had found out.

"Brother, what the hell is going to happen here, is anything going to happen to Aisly?" Rupert asked worriedly.

At this moment, Rupert's heart felt like it was being gripped by ants, obviously anxious but unable to do anything, he would rather it was himself who was tied up there than to have Aisly aggravated. The thought of what Aisly might be subjected to now made Rupert very worried.

Hector pondered and replied, "They shouldn't do anything to Aisly, after all, he's only there to get the man, he needs to be saved but not trapped."

"So what do we do next? Just let the man go?"

"Better not, there is no way the man is going to agree to our demands straight away now that he is being held by the police, so it's better to think of a way out." Hector rejected Rupert's offer outright.

No to this and no to that, it was driving Rupert crazy, there was no way he was going to see it through, not to mention the fact that Aisly was in trouble because he was involved with him.

Rupert stopped talking after the veto and sat alone on the sofa, wondering what was going on.

The air was terribly quiet for a while, and Rupert could not sit still and walked around the room, showing how anxious he was inside.

Finally he couldn't sit still any longer and went over to Hector and said, "Brother, I'm going crazy, if I can't, I'll go and get Aisly back."

Hector frowned, "No, the last thing she wants is for you to go and get yourself killed, just take it easy, I've asked Hall and the others to check the coordinates of this number while I figure out what to do." Then Rupert's phone rang at the right time, another message from the same number.

I only give you one hour to think about it, if you don't let go, this woman won't live.

Attached was a picture of Aisly, her face covered in scratches of all sizes, her eyes somewhat vacant, staring blankly ahead.

After seeing this picture, Rupert couldn't wait any longer. He threw his phone right at Hector and shouted angrily, "Look at her now, can we wait any longer?

If your sister-in-law had been kidnapped, would you be so calm? I don't care, I'm going to get help now."

After saying that, he was about to rush out of the door, but was pulled back by Hector, his cold voice coming out, "Calm down! There's a limit to the amount of noise you can make."

Then he flung the paper in his hand at Rupert.

"This is the plan I have worked out. Firstly, we should consult with the police in advance, if we bring our own people there, it may arouse their suspicion, and then the trouble will not only be about saving Aisly alone. What's more, that female mercenary is not easy to deal with. If we want to save the hostages, we need to be prepared for them to escape at any time.

Secondly, we also need to seal off the entrances to the city, big and small, can you do all these things on your own?

Thirdly, Rupert, this is a matter of life and death, and I want you to be sensible!"

With these words, Rupert sat down. He had been reckless just now and had not thought of all the possibilities, and if he had gone straight to save Aisly, there was no telling how much trouble he would have gotten into. Once his emotions had stabilised, Rupert spoke, "Brother, I'm sorry, I didn't mean what I said earlier."

"No need to apologise to me, I hope that in future, when you encounter something, the first thing you should think of is a strategy to deal with it, not a brainless passion." Hector said indifferently.

In fact, he knew that Rupert was not worse than him in all matters, just a bit reckless in some aspects, and after all these things, it could make him wiser, and it was not worth the loss.

Hector went out to discuss the rescue plan with the police, and when Hector gave his opinion, the chief of police stood up and said, "Mr Hector, the man we have captured is the number one man and the woman we are looking for, and if Mr Hector can help us make a successful capture, we are willing to If Mr Hector can help us to capture him, we are willing to cooperate fully."

The police took the matter very seriously, as it was a wide-ranging one.

Hector nodded and pointed to the map on the table and said, "I think that until the people are rescued, the whole city should be put under siege and all exits, including the port, should be blocked to prevent them from escaping directly to foreign countries, otherwise we will be the ones to suffer."

The chief felt that Hector had a good point and immediately ordered the police to go down and within half an hour, the police were deployed and the whole city was under martial law.

Hector, who had not expected the police force to be so swift, gave Rupert an OK sign.

By this time Rupert had also completely calmed down and replied straight away agreeing to be released.

The 'ding' quickly responded, giving Rupert an address, but demanding that he come alone, otherwise he would simply tear the ticket, and recording a few screams from Aisly at the end of the message. Despite being very worried about Aisly, Hector is relatively calm and collected, after all, she won't really do anything to Aisly now.
