Chapter 103

Brandon's gaze fell on the summons. His eyes were deep, dangerous, and sinister. He looked even colder.

Jim thought that Brandon would not go, but when the court was in session, Brandon didn't hesitate at all. He even abandoned his important clients and asked Jim to pick up Jo Max, a famous lawyer from France.

When Jo got in the car, he saw that Brandon was staring at his phone. Jo glanced at it and knew that Brandon was reading the rumors that Savanna had spread last night

Overnight, the news of Brandon's tyrannical seizure of the baby spread throughout the entire New York. The news said that Brandon had forcefully snatched the child away and did not allow Savanna to see the child. On the night when Savanna gave birth to the baby, he did not even allow doctors to deliver Savanna's baby. There were even a few pictures attached. In the first picture, Savanna looked horribly pale and was lying on the big bed, almost bleeding profusely. In the second picture, Savanna was running in the heavy rain in a daze. In the last picture, Brandon was leaning his head against Winnie's neck under the night sky as if he was kissing her. The time in the picture showed that it was a year ago.

Needless to say, Brandon had cheated on Savanna and abused Savanna. After divorcing Brandon, Savanna had a baby, while Brandon took away the kid by force.

The news was logically reasonable and hit the nail on the head, which shocked Brandon a lot.

Needless to say, Savanna played the weak and incited public opinion. With the support of the public, no matter how strong a public relations team Brandon had, or how strong his lawyers were, perhaps, the final result would be a failure.

Brandon browsed through the message and asked, "What are the odds of winning the case?"

Jo knew that Brandon had watched the news and was in a bad mood. He patted his chest and replied, "Don't worry, I promise to make your ex-wife kneel and beg for your mercy."

Brandon seemed to be very agitated. He lit a cigarette and smoked silently.

As soon as the car arrived at the entrance to the court, Brandon was bombarded with a flood of questions. "Mr. Cassel, is the news true?"

"To snatch the baby, are you really so shameless?"

Jim quickly got out of the car and stood in front of Brandon. He shouted at the reporters, "No comment."

Another car drove over quickly and stopped. Savanna and Cain got off from both sides. The reporters immediately surrounded them. "Ms. Thompson, how confident are you to win today's case?" Savanna was about to speak when she felt the cold glare opposite. Brandon's handsome face was shrouded in coldness. Even though she was standing so far away, she could feel the strong coldness emanating from him.

Especially when his gaze swept over Cain, who was behind her, his cold eyes seemed to be covered with a layer of ice.

A Bentley and a Maybach drove over in a chase. As soon as the Bentley stopped, the Maybach also stalled. Giselle, who got out of the Bentley, looked irritable and was cursing something. Her fierce eyes occasionally fell on the mother and son who got out of the Maybach.

It was Terri and Kadyn.

Kadyn supported Terri. The mother and son looked at Giselle and Brandon with a hint of schadenfreude.

Giselle was about to go inside, but she seemed to be so angry that she pointed at the Bentley and shouted at Terri and Kadyn, "If you don't fix the car, you won't have a peaceful life."

While they were on the road, the Maybach suddenly rushed up and hit the Bentley, where Giselle was sitting. The hit was not strong, but it still scratched the right side of the Bentley. Seeing that it was Kadyn's car, Giselle was so angry that she accused Terri and Kadyn of doing it intentionally.

Terri kept apologizing.

If not for the fear of missing the session, Giselle would have fought with Terri long ago.

"Good thing that it's insured."

Terri did not seem to want to cause trouble and seemed to be a little afraid of Brandon. She walked to Brandon and said softly, "Brandon, your father is busy. So he asked us to come here on his behalf." Brandon compressed his lips and did not say a word.

And when he saw Kadyn greeting Savanna, he was burning with jealousy.

After a few deep breaths, he finally suppressed the raging jealousy.

He entered the court, and the iciness on his handsome face lingered for a long time.

Savanna and Cain followed him.

In the court, the dignified judge sat on the stage, quietly listening to the verbal battle between the lawyers of both sides. Jo, an illustrious lawyer from France, was having a verbal battle with Jason, the most eminent lawyer in New York, just for a small case of baby snatching. Everyone listened carefully, not daring to breathe loudly,

Jason said that the baby was too young to lack mother's care, and his client, Savanna, often suffered from Brandon's cold violence, even cheating in their marriage, which caused great mental damage to her. The baby was born after the divorce. On the day of delivery, Savanna gave birth to a boy in an extremely dangerous situation. The defendant, Brandon, was not worthy of being a father. Naturally, he should not have the right to be a father.

After Jason finished his statement, it was the defense lawyer's turn to make his statement.

Jo rose to his feet and began to state, "First of all, my client, Brandon, was forced to marry the plaintiff, Savanna. Before their marriage, there was nothing wrong with him loving someone else. If we wanted to pursue the matter, to some extent, the plaintiff should be regarded as the culprit who destroyed Brandon's happiness. She is the so-called third wheel. On the day of the delivery, it was the plaintiff who planned to take the baby away. Afterward, she hid the child. With just a few words and a few videos as evidence, Jo made Jason speechless.

When they were at loggerheads, the judge solemnly ordered a short adjournment.

In the lounge, Jason slammed the documents on the table with a crack.

His face was ashen and his tone was stern as he questioned Savanna, "Why didn't you tell me that you ran away and hid the child?" Savanna immediately panicked. Her face paled, and she asked nervously, "Is it serious?"

She had intended to tell Jason about it, but Cain stopped her and said it was better not to let Jason know. So, she chose not to say it. Jason said, "If they don't let go of this matter, it's serious. By the way, just in terms of background, you are not Brandon's match."

It was clearly the first time Jason had been defeated, and he was in a terrible mood.

Jason took a deep breath and said, "Fortunately, Mandel is still a suckling baby. We still have public opinion favoring us. The weak are always pitied by the public. Cain, go spread more news. The more furious the public grows, the more likely we will win,"

"Alright," Cain replied as his hands began to move on the screen of his phone.

In order to help Savanna, Cain paid a high price to hire a large number of Internet trolls to slander Brandon, whose scandals were thoroughly searched.

Savanna's thoughts were a mess. Jason said that she could only pin hope on public opinion, which meant that her hope of taking Mandel back was extremely slim.
