Handsome? I don’t deny it. But familiar? Has she become so brazen as to not recognize me?

“My guardian?”

Before Michaela realized what was going on, Lorelei chuckled mischievously. “Michaela, if you hadn’ttold me that he was your guardian, I would have assumed that he was your boyfriend.
