Chapter 335 She Got Free

It was foggy and wet in Bormintam. Randal had been walking all the way here, and there was still somesteam on his body, and his beautiful and deep eyes were also misted.

Today, Randal was wearing a white sweatshirt and a pair of light jeans. Though he was more than thirtyyears old, he still looked like a handsome and cute teenage boy.

It was rare to meet such an outstanding and good-looking star like him.

And what his fans loved most was his purity. He was familiar with how dark the world could be, but hewas never influenced.

The floor was covered with a blanket. Randal took off his slippers and sat on the floor.

“I’m here to attend a fashion week, and I just stop by to meet you.”

Randal reached out and rubbed Hailey’s soft hair.

“I’m so glad that you’re here, Randal! Karl grounded me again, so I can’t go anywhere but stay in thecastle. I’m so bored.”

Hailey seized the chance to tell Randal about what Karl had done to her.

Randal looked back at Karl and said with a smile, “It’s useless for you to tell me about it. You didn’tbehave, so you deserve it.”

Hailey was speechless.

Never did she expect that her complaint would be in vain.

She almost forgot that in their family, Karl was the one who had the final say.

Karl didn’t come in. He looked down at Hailey at the door and said, “What else do you want to say infront of me? Just go ahead.”

“No, no.” Hailey looked sincere. “I’m always obedient to you, Karl. Right, Randal?”

Randal couldn’t help laughing. “Yeah…”

Hailey glanced at Randal and chuckled at Karl. “Karl, what do you want to eat tonight? I’ll make it foryou.”

“You don’t need to cook tonight. We have a guest.”

After saying that, Karl turned around and left.

Hailey was stunned. “Guest? Which brother is coming?”

Randal shrugged, indicating that he had no idea, either.

Randal and Hailey had been working hard on the Lego for the whole afternoon, but they only managedto assemble the parts into a big wing. They were so tired that they collapsed on the carpet.

“Who bought you this toy?” Randal asked Hailey.

Hailey replied, “It was from Saul, that hero captain.”

“What?” Randal turned his head to look at Hailey with a smile. “Is there anything going on betweenyou?”

“What?” Hailey’s brain went blank for a moment. She blinked for a while and then finally got whatRandal was saying. “Oh, no. I gave him a gift, and then he sent me this in return.”

“That must be the case! You even gave each other gifts!” Randal went on making fun of her.

Hailey couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him. “Randal, have you become gossip because you’ve been inshowbiz for too long? It seems like you see every man and woman as a couple now.”

Randal just smiled and dropped the subject.

Hailey began to gossip about him. “How are things going on with you and Ashley?”

“Quite good” Randal told the truth, “We are trying to gain the support of our family. If everything goeswell, we’re going to get married at the end of the year.”

“Really?” Hailey sat up abruptly with her eyes shining. “Are you sure you’ll marry her?”

“Yes.” With a bright smile on his face, Randal said firmly, “All the members of our family are infatuated.Once we are determined about who we’re going to spend the rest of life with, we won’t change ourminds.”

Hailey’s heart trembled inexplicably. Suddenly, a figure flashed through her mind, and her heart ached.

“True! But I’d rather be an exception,” thought she.

Hailey thought another brother would travel thousands of miles to give her a surprise at dusk.

It was really a surprise, but it was not from her brother, but from her father.

Mr. Ingram, Karl’s father and Hailey’s First Father arrived at the Magic Castle after a long journey with alot of gifts.

“Father!”

Hailey knew that Mr. Ingram was recuperating in a small town, but she didn’t expect him to come.Surprised and pleased, she ran over to welcome him.

Mr. Ingram gave Hailey a cheek kiss and said in poor English, “My dear daughter, I miss you so much!”

Randal also greeted Mr. Ingram with a smile, and the two hugged each other.

Mr. Ingram was not young this year. He was nearly sixty years old, but he had a good spirit and wasvery humorous.

He knew that Hailey had come to Bormintam, so he came here to visit her on purpose.

Mr. Ingram’s face changed as soon as he heard that his son had grounded Hailey, and he thought Karlwas too much.

“Hailey has come to Bormintam. It’s our own place. What danger could she meet? Don’t worry. Justsend some soldiers to protect her. I’ll make arrangements for it. Hailey can go wherever she wants fromnow on.”

Then Mr. Ingram scolded his son in his language while Hailey wore a smug smile on her face.Shefinally met her savior.

In the end, Karl released Hailey, perhaps for the sake of his father or his younger brother.

Hailey was allowed to go out for fun under protection.

Hailey, who finally got her freedom back, was so happy that she took Mr. Ingram, Karl, and Randal toRose Island for

fun.

The three men sat on the beach deck chairs with faint smiles on their faces, watching Hailey floppingback and forth. in the water like a mermaid.

Mr. Ingram chuckled. “What a lovely girl! When your mother was in her days, she also liked to foolaround without stopping

Karl shook his head and said, “No, mom is much quieter than this monkey girl.”

Randal nodded in agreement. As far as he could remember, although his mother had a hot temper, shewas not as mischievous as Hailey.

Mr. Ingram said, “You just don’t know what she was like when she was young. At that time, she wascool and wild. No man could conquer her, and neither could I.”

There was a trace of regret in his words as he added, “Even though I gave all my wealth to her, she stillrefused to marry me.”

Karl said indifferently, “You should be happy that my mom was willing to give me to you and let youhave a son.” Although it seemed impolite, Mr. Ingram thought it made sense. He grinned and said,“That’s true. Otherwise, how could I have such an excellent son?”

In point of fact, Mr. Ingram had gotten married and had children before, but his wife and children haddied of illness. The local people said that was the curse of the Ingram family.

Mr. Ingram had once lost the desire to live. It was not until he got a qualification by chance and had ahandsome and smart son that everything in his life began to get better.

Hearing the conversation between the father and the son, Randal thought of what had happened to hisfamily, and his eyes darkened.

“My family is also the same.”

Indeed, Randal was the savior for his father and the whole family, while his mother was the savior forhim and hist brothers.
