Chapter 65 Davina’s Attitude

Arya did not hurry to the hotel nor did she hurry to enquire about the work arrangements. She took hertime to ensure Davina that she did know anything about what was going to happen.

After circling around, Davina took off her sunglasses, looked at Arya meaningfully, “It’s been a fewyears and you still look beautiful. I’ve heard some rumors though.”

Arya scrutinized Davina’s attitude.

As Parker Family’s member, Davina had always been hesitant about Daniel and her marriage. WithDavina’s attitude today, she would have known about the news and is aware they were no longertogether. Therefore, this filming was most likely Davina’s idea.

An ambitious man like Daniel needs someone who cansupport him and share his worries. I think with your relationship so strained, it’s good for Daniel thatboth of you separated. If you really love him, you should be happy for him and Caroline.”

“Daniel’s flight isn’t to arrive till half an hour later. They were heading to the private pathway. Who isshe meeting?”

Her smile was as cold as the wind, not paying any attention to Davina, nor did she care about Davina’sthreatening words. She went straight to the lounge.

Davina received news, the CEO of Dahua Entertainment was here on a business, which he shouldarrive around this time. If she could meet him and establish a relationship with Dahua Entertainment,the Caroline have a better chance of becoming successful. If that happens, they wouldn’t need to beconcerned about a small fly like Arya!

However, Davina’s subordinates had only the general news and not the exact time of arrival. So by thetime she rushed to the private pathway, Allen was already in the car, on his way to the hotel while on avideo call with his wife.

On the screen, he showed elegance in his gray and purple shirt, his thin lips were slightly parted.Obvious gentleness filled his eyes.

“It’s afternoon already. There shouldn’t be any filming right?”

“I don’t think so.” Arya checked the time and asked him with concern, “How about you? Will you begoing straight to work?”

Allen’s eyes darkened, “I’ll probably be back late tonight. Don’t wait up for me. Get an early rest. If I geta chance, I’ll come over to see you.”

Arya didn’t think too much what he said and nodded. She hung up the phone before Davina came tolounge area.
