Love that heals
Chapter 60 Death, not a solution

Ashutosh

We were trying to let the girl come down but suddenly I realised Rudrani missing. I looked around and she is no where. Suddenly I looked up and found Rudrani behind the girl. She pulled her back and gave a tight slap to her. Soon we reached the terrace.

"What happened to you, Sritika?" Rudrani almost yelled at her.

Sritika was crying and everyone are giving different kind of expressions. Someone gave mobile to Rudrani playing a video. Seeing Rudrani in shock, I took the mobile from her hands. The video clip just shocked me. It's a video where Sritika was taking bathe. Rudrani looked at me, I sighed and signalled her with eyes to console her. We heard the comments of the people around us.

"What kind of a girl she is? She deserves death"

"Her parents raised her up with no morals. She damaged the reputation of her family"

"What kind of a girl she is! Worthless bitch"

"Enough, shut up," I yelled at everyone while Rudrani was consoling her.

"Are you people out of your mind? How can you think that it's she who uploaded the video into cyber world? Can't you just understand it's the sick deed of some b@st@rds to degrade her character? If you can't support her, then shut your bloody mouth. But just don't speak useless words," I shouted at everyone.

Everyone became calm. We both took Sritika to our home. Rudrani served water to her.

"Sritika, it's okay. Please relax. Death is not the solution for any problem. Please be courageous," Rudrani tried to boost her but I understood Rudrani herself was in shock after watching that video.

Whenever it comes to the issues of a girl, Rudrani loses her cool and her anger fires up.

"Sritika," I called her softly.

Both looked at me.

"Why did you try to kill yourself? Did you give a thought about your parents before committing to attempt suicide?"

"My parents disowned me after watching that video," Sritika said sobbing.

"Sritika, even then you should live for yourself. To prove your innocence, you should live. Death is a route to kill your dreams and hopes. Choose hope and fight back with life. Life appreciates those who never gives up and fights back everytime though they were hit hard by the fate. You never knew what's in store for you after the passage of the storm." I said her softly.

"Sritika, you can stay here. We are with you," Rudrani said patting on her hands.

Then she looked at me as if she slipped the words in hurry. I smiled understanding her. I sighed with my eyes to relax. Of course, this is her house and has every right to ask someone to stay here.

"I can't show my face to this world. I deserve to die. Everyone will see me as a whore and I can't escape their lustful looks," Sritika said with tears.

"Sritika, please try to understand. I don't think it's only you who face such lustful looks. Every day every girl who steps outside from the home face such looks and many idiots treat a girl as a pleasure giving machine rather than a human who has feelings.

Sister, it's not your fault. It's the fault of those idiots who look you in that way. Whatever now you are thrown into the battle field who is left with no choice. Fight and win the justice. Don't back off until you win. Everyone are alone in this world in their first step towards success. Start your journey and universe accompanies you," I encouraged her.

"Yes dear, you should fight. Find out those culprits who were the reason behind your tears. Let them go behind the bars. If you die, they will escape the punishment and another girl may become victim again. Be a fighter, not a victim. Problems come into your way just to make you strong and show this world that you are tougher than that challenge and you are a winner. Instead of cursing the fate, smile and thank the fate for giving you that problem which makes you realise your true strength.

Life is an adventure for those who never gives up and succeeds out of every adversity. Stop blaming the situations and start accepting it as it is and show it what you are.

I am with you, Sritika," Rudrani said to her.

Sritika hugged Rudrani. She consoled her. Later, we informed this to mom and dad. We decided to file a case regarding that video. How clever the culprits may be, definitely they will leave atleast one clue to get caught!

Sritika took pills to sleep and Rudrani stayed with her till she fell asleep. Later on, she came to our room. I was busy with my study but replaceing her so calm, I went to her.

"Sweet heart, are you fine?" I asked her.

"Yes," she replied but her face said something different.

"What happened? Don't think much about Sritika. We will do our best to get justice."

I said trying to comprehend her thoughts.

"Tell me Ashu, who did this?" She asked looking straight into my eyes.

"What?" I asked as if I can't believe what I heard.

"Ashu, I know well about you. Your eyes can't lie to me. Tell me who it is behind this incident and why are you trying to save them?"

"Rudrani, what are you saying? I don't know anything," I said and tried to bluff as much as I can.

"Ashu, please stop it. It's the life of a girl. Tell me the truth," She yelled at me.

"I don't know anything and you can't accuse me like this," I said trying to act angry.

"Enough Ashu. If you didn't tell me the truth, I will never forgive you in my life," she said seriously.

"Do as you wish but I don't know anything," I said firmly.

"The one who protects a culprit is also a criminal. I never thought my Ashu is such a coward or sick minded until now. I hate you and I won't spare anyone including you in this matter," Rudrani warned me and left the room leaving me in my thoughts.
