Loveless Marriage
Chapter162  She Isn't My Goal

"You!" Lexie wanted to slap him again.

Minh stopped her easily and spoke with a heavy tone. "Miss Perez, are you addicted to slapping now? I don't argue with women, but you should also stop. Furthermore, it's not like you've got nothing. Haven't you deleted the video she used to threaten you?"

Lexie fiercely shook off his imprisonment and sneered, "Who do you think you are? You tricked me. Aren't you afraid that I tell her your real intention, so that you can never be able to get close to her anymore?" Looking at her, Minh frowned in disgust.

Why did he choose to cooperate with this stupid woman? Other than being headstrong and wilful, she didn't even have a brain.

"You think my goal is her?" Minh smiled coldly. No one could see his emotion clearly inside the dark room.

"But I know your goal is her. If you are to be like this stubborn, Miss Perez, I believe that even your father cannot save you."

With that, he pushed the door and left.

Lexie's pretty face immediately darkened, her fingers tightly clenched together.

She just didn't believe that she couldn't deal with a woman.

Out of the KTV, Minh coincidentally saw Isabella, who was getting off the car with Christian in the distance. He stared at them for a few seconds, then turned and left.

She indeed wasn't his goal, not before, not now. But he'd still take back what he wanted.

As soon as Isabella entered the company, she bumped into Minh. "What are you doing here?" She asked.

"I bought some coffee for colleagues." Minh raised the bag in his hand, then he asked: "Are you alright?"

"Follow me." Isabella said seriously.

There was a leisure area in the first floor, and Isabella casually found an empty seat and sat down. "Take a seat as well." She said.

Minh placed the coffee on table, and carefully asked: "Miss Jones, are you alright? Could it be because I handed you over to Mr. Miller last night, so you're mad at me now? Because at that time..." "No!" Isabella calmly interrupted him. After hesitating for a few seconds, she continued: "I just want to ask what really happened to me last night?"

Minh innocently blinked his eyes, "Weren't you having a fever?"

"That's b*llshit! Tell me the truth. You were the last person I saw last night, so you must know something." Isabella stared intently at him.

Minh's face immediately turned pale. He then anxiously began to defend himself: "It has nothing to do with me. I was indeed with you last night, but you fainted in the corridor, which scared me. Seeing your crimson face and burning-hot body, I thought you were having a fever and wanted to send you back to the dinner room. At that time, Mr. Miller called and I told him your address."

After that, he looked at her in a strange way.

Isabella continued with a frown: "Nothing more? Before I fainted I looked totally okay and was even chatting with you. A drunk person wouldn't be like this. Don't you have any suspicions?"

Minh seemed to be even more confused now. He then asked curiously: "Suspicions? It's not the first time you've done this, okay, Miss Jones? I think before your babies are born, you should take a long period off since you always get sick..."
