Tyler’s voice was cold. “Where is Aurora?”

Tyler shot her a knowing glance. “Vicky, your ability to lie is getting worse.”

Vicky clenched her fists, trying to keep herself calm. “Tyler, I’m not lying. I have no reason to do such athing.”

“Oh?”

“Firstly, we are already divorced. You have a fiancee, and I…” Vicky took a deep breath, thencontinued, “I also have a fiance myself. We both have our own lives, so I have no reason and no needto do such a thing.”

Tyler’s thin lips curled into a mocking sneer. “No reason? Are you sure there is no reason?”

Under the man’s intimidating presence and piercing gaze, Vicky’s confidence wavered.

“What reason would it be?”

“Firstly, I forced you to divorce me. You didn’t want to at that time, did you? Secondly, you’ve hadissues with Aurora for a long time. Otherwise, why did you publicly label her as a homewrecker andembarrass her? Also, Aurora snatched the items that you wanted at the auction. She took away yourman, and then also the items you wanted. So, you wanted to retaliate against her, tit for tat.” The man’svoice was hoarse as if he had just woken up, but his eyes were sharp.

Vicky opened her mouth to defend herself, but Tyler’s words were logical and coherent, leaving herspeechless.

It was true that she did not have a good impression of Aurora, so Vicky rubbed the bridge of her noseand said,” Believe it or not, I didn’t do this.”

He shot her a half-smile. “Who would’ve done this, if not you? Aurora? Would she give her own fianceto another woman?”

Vicky was speechless.

No one would be foolish enough to give their own man to another woman.

Vicky had witnessed Aurora’s admiration and care for Tyler. However, if Aurora was not involved in this,Vicky could not think of anyone else who would do such a thing.

Before Vicky could come up with a reasonable explanation, the sound of knocking suddenly came fromthe door.

“Tyler, are you awake?”

Vicky’s body stiffened as she recognized Aurora’s voice.

Tyler furrowed his brows. He let go of Vicky and said coldly,” Quick! Put on your clothes and hide.”

Clearly, he did not want Aurora to replace out about their situation either.

Vicky quickly got out of bed to replace her clothes.

However, she froze when she found her dress torn apart on the floor.

“Tyler, my clothes…”

At that moment, Tyler was buttoning his shirt, and upon hearing her voice, he asked impatiently, “Whatare you waiting for? Do you want Aurora to replace you?”

Knock, knock, knock.

The knocking sound became more urgent and impatient.

“Tyler, are you in there?”

A hint of embarrassment appeared on Vicky’s face. She glanced at the disheveled sheets on the bed,gritted her teeth, and draped the sheets over her body.

Wrapping herself tightly, Vicky walked toward the bathroom.

Tyler’s cold voice came from behind her, “Are you planning to hide in the bathroom? Do you wantAurora to replace you?”

Vicky paused and turned to look at him. “Where else should I be hiding, then, Mister Hart?”

He pointed at the closet in the bedroom. “In the closet.”

Vicky was speechless and felt extremely humiliated.

She used to accuse others of being a homewrecker, and now, she had become one herself.
