Aurora glanced at her. “Do you like watching series or movies?”

Vicky shook her head. She had no interest in either. In fact, she rarely stepped foot inside a cinema.

Vicky felt sorry for Aurora.

Aurora seemed to be thirsty after talking for so long. She poured herself and Vicky a glass of wine.Then she smiled drunkenly and said, “Vicky, even though we’re not friends, you’re the first person whocame here to check on me after just one phone call… Let’s drink to that!”

Although Vicky did not come from the same background as Aurora, she could understand all the thingsshe went through. She accepted the glass of wine and finished drinking it in one go.

The two of them kept talking and drinking. What surprised Vicky was that she and Aurora had quite afew things in common. Not only that, but Aurora was talented in many ways too.
