“I don’t want anything.” Tyler leaned back lazily. “You’ve made it clear that you don’t want to be mylover, so in that case, we can occasionally have meet-ups when we have time.”

“So what you’re trying to say is… You want me to act as if nothing has been happening this wholetime?” Tyler raised an eyebrow.

Vicky did not speak, but her attitude seemed to tacitly agree.

Tyler’s gaze became indifferent. “So many things have happened between us these past few days,don’t you agree? Does it look like I can act as if nothing happened? Do you really think that’spossible?”

Vicky wanted to say that nothing was impossible, but when she heard his next words, she froze.

“Have you been taking your birth control pills?”

Vicky’s lips trembled, but no sound came out.

During her time at the Harrisons’ house, she was first called to try on a wedding dress, and then sheencountered Elijah and his girlfriend. These sudden events left her flustered, causing her to forgetabout taking the birth control pills.

A sinister glint flashed in Tyler’s eyes.

The temperature in the room dropped to freezing point, as if even the air carried a chilling aura.

“Vicky, if you dare to kill my child again, I will never spare you.”

Vicky nodded, unsurprised, and then asked, “In that case, will you allow me to leave this country withthe child?”

If she had to keep the pregnancy, leaving with the child would be the best choice to prevent her childfrom being labeled as an illegitimate child.

Tyler glanced at her and uttered casually, “Dream on.”

Vicky was not surprised by his response. “In that case… Will you break off the engagement withAurora?”

The particles in the air seemed to have frozen in place.

Vicky did not notice the tension in the air and simply stared quietly at Tyler, waiting for his answer.
