Vicky and Tyler sat in silence in the dining room.

It had been a while since she dined with Tyler, and it felt strange.

Tyler had never been a talkative person, so he did not say much as he ate. Even so, his intimidatingpresence still made her feel uneasy.

Just then, the doorbell rang, and Vicky got up to answer the door.

Outside the door stood a young and beautiful woman. She was wearing a casual T-shirt, and her skinseemed slightly tanned compared to before.

Seeing Vicky open the door, the woman gave her a warm embrace.

Aurora lifted the bag in her hand and exclaimed excitedly,” Vicky, the filming of my movie ended, and Ibrought back a lot of souvenirs from the area. There’s food and a lot of fun stuff… Oh, I found theunique local products really interesting.”

Aurora rushed back as soon as she finished filming. She did not even have the time to change herclothes as she could not wait to share her experiences with Vicky.

Although Aurora grew up in Molivia and spoke fluent

English, she was not very familiar with the customs and culture of Zendonia. The things she foundfascinating were all familiar to Vicky, so there was nothing particularly new to her.

Seeing Aurora so enthusiastic, Vicky did not interrupt her and let her continue talking at the door.

After a while, Aurora suggested, “Let’s go inside and have a look. I brought you a lot of gifts.”

Before Vicky could respond, Aurora walked into the house on her own with all the bags.

Aurora carried two large bags and spoke as she walked, “I was filming in a small county this time.Although the conditions were a bit poor there, the scenery was incredibly beautiful. It’s no wonder thecrew chose that place for shooting. I’ve never seen such natural beauty even in Molivia…” As shespoke, Aurora suddenly felt a piercing gaze and turned her head to look.

When she saw Tyler sitting in the living room, she blurted out without thinking, “What are you doinghere?”

Vicky followed Aurora and walked in, still unsure how to explain the situation.

She then heard the cold voice of the man sitting in the dining room saying, “What are you doing here?”

Vicky looked back and forth between the two of them and thought, ‘So, Aurora didn’t know that Tylerwas still here, and Tyler didn’t know that Aurora was coming back today?’

Aurora looked at Tyler and replied, “I just finished filming and came to bring something for Vicky. Andyou…”

Aurora’s voice suddenly paused, as if she had just realized something, and she turned to look at Vicky.“Vicky, how is Tyler’s injury now?”

Vicky had never been a bad person, so she did not dare to look into Aurora’s eyes after what happenedbetween her and Tyler. “…It’s fine.”

Aurora warmly held Vicky’s hand, grateful as she said,” Vicky, I’m such an incompetent fiance. Myfiance got injured, and I went off to film a movie… Thank you for taking care of Tyler during this time.”

Vicky wanted to explain that she had only returned yesterday as well, but Aurora’s attention quicklyshifted to the dinner on the table. Her eyes lit up excitedly. “Vicky, did you make all of this?”

The topic changed so abruptly that Vicky could only nod blankly.

Aurora took a good whiff of the aroma and licked her lips. “It smells so good. I’ve been on a plane allday and haven’t eaten anything.”
