Vicky scowled. “Are you saying that Tyler took advantage of the situation and deliberately severed tieswith his parents?”

Lincoln looked at Vicky. “Exactly. When you disappeared while meeting my parents, they were theprime suspects. Kidnapping you posed no harm to them, but in the end, it was Tyler who benefited fromthe incident… Vicky, haven’t you considered that there might be other forces at play?”

If Vicky was told that in the past, she would not have believed it. She would have even thought thatLincoln was trying to sow discord between her and Tyler.

However, ever since she learned that everything Tyler had done was in retaliation against her, shecame to believe that anything was possible, especially after replaceing out about Tyler’s collaboration withElijah and Aurora to deceive her.

Vicky would not put it past Tyler to do such things.

Vicky said lightly, “It doesn’t matter anymore. Whether he used me to sever ties with his parents ordeliberately kidnapped me, it’s not important.”

“Vicky, there’s something else…” Lincoln seemed hesitant. His face was showing signs of inner turmoil.

Vicky looked at him, quietly waiting for him to continue.

There was a menacing glint in the man’s eyes that sent shivers down one’s spine.

Before Vicky could react, Tyler had already taken large strides toward them and delivered a fiercepunch to Lincoln.

Lincoln was instantly knocked down to the ground.

Valencia, who failed to stop Tyler, came in and gasped when she witnessed the scene.

“Oh my goodness! Lincoln, are you okay? Are you hurt?”

Without even sparing a glance at Lincoln, Tyler grabbed Vicky’s wrist and started to storm out.

Lincoln wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, but his eyes remained fixed in Vicky’s direction.“Mother, Vicky doesn’t want to go with him. Stop them,” he said.

Valencia’s eyes welled up with anguish. “Lincoln, your face is swollen. Let me apply some medicine foryou first…”

Lincoln interrupted her, “Mother, help Vicky.”

Seeing how insistent he was, Valencia gritted her teeth and turned around to Vicky’s rescue. Sheshouted, “Guards! Stop those two from leaving!”

A group of bodyguards in black suits instantly surrounded Tyler.

They were in the mansion where Old Mister Hart stayed. Ever since the big fight Valencia and Orionhad with Tyler, they moved to stay here.

At that moment, Valencia was extremely glad that they decided to move here. Otherwise, they wouldhave no means to stop Tyler.

“Tyler, what do you think you are doing, barging here into your parents’ house?” Valencia questionedsharply.

Tyler scanned the bodyguards around him coldly and said,” You’re overreacting, Mother. I’m just hereto take my woman home.”
