Harvey smiled. “I heard Old Mister Hart had a teenage sweetheart from a relatively well-off family. Theywere about to get married when a girl from a richer family fell in love with Old Mister Hart. Shepromised him she’d help him achieve dominion over the entire Hart family if he agreed to marry her.

“Sad to say, Old Mister Hart didn’t even think twice about leaving his fiance at the altar and marryingthe richer girl. My heart goes out to his fiance. Can you imagine being dumped on your wedding day?”

Isabella did not know much about the Hart family’s secret history, so she simply listened.

Harvey decided enough had been said on the topic, so he changed to another one. “I know we stilldon’t have a clue what happened to Tyler that day, but shouldn’t we at least have something to go onafter treating him for so long?”

They were just picking up where they had left off before Tyler came.

“Based on what I’ve seen, I’m pretty sure Mister Hart went through some sort of traumatic experiencethat afternoon. Also, there were signs of him having been under hypnotic control,” replied Isabella.

Harvey frowned. “But Tyler isn’t the type of person who’d be easily hypnotized, right?”

“Logically speaking, yes.” A cold glint flashed across Isabella’s eyes. “But if the hypnotist knows theexact condition that’s ailing Mister Hart, he’ll need to only worsen that condition to make it work. Throwin a couple of drugs, and it’ll be easy to put Mister Hart under hypnotic control.”

Apart from Isabella and Vicky, the only other person who knew the details about Tyler’s condition wasAvery.

“It’s all my fault; I was careless. That’s how Avery knew about Mister Hart’s condition,” said Isabellaguiltily.

Even though she had talked about Tyler’s condition with Avery before, she made sure to keep thedetails to herself. Besides, even if Avery knew the exact condition Tyler was in, it would still be difficultfor her to accurately get Tyler to behave how she wanted him to.

“If my guess is correct, not only does Avery know about Tyler’s current condition, but she must’vegotten information from Missus Valencia Hart about the ‘treatment plan’ they forced Tyler to go throughin the past,” added Isabella.

Avery was a very talented psychiatrist, too. She was an even more talented psychiatrist than Isabella.

Isabella had no idea what kind of ‘treatment plan’ Tyler went through in the past. Only Avery did, andwith her capabilities, it would be easy for her to work Tyler’s condition in her favor.

However, all of these were only Isabella’s guesses. She did not have any evidence that wouldconclusively prove Avery was the mastermind behind all this.

After a long moment of silence, Harvey finally said, “Let’s not give up just yet.”

Isabella turned to look at him in confusion.

“Why are you still willing to help him when he tried to make your company go under? He even sent ahitman to go after you.”

Harvey smiled. “I’m not helping him; I’m helping Vicky. Besides, he wasn’t in his right mind when he didall that. If I wanted revenge, I should go after the men who tried to set Tyler up so that we’ll both godown to show them they messed with the wrong person.”

Isabella smiled. “I now know why Mister Hart sees you as his strongest rival. After all, not many peoplecan boast they possess the same level of compassion and intelligence as you do.”

After they got home, Vicky explained everything to Tyler again.

Even though Tyler sometimes confused reality with fiction, he was still as smart as ever. Deliberatelyhiding the truth from him would only make him more suspicious of her.
