[You two definitely took us by surprise! You literally skipped dating and went straight for engagement.Impressive!] Noah typed.

Aurora retorted, [What do you know? Vicky and Harvey were engaged once, and that counts as dating.They’ve known each other for years, so it shouldn’t be an issue even if they get married right away.]

[When will the engagement party be?] Jennifer asked.

Cece commented, [I agree that they can just get married right away.]

Harvey read all the messages and replied, [We haven’t started planning the wedding, so it’s too rushedto get married now. We will get engaged first and get to the wedding part once everything is in place.]

“Noah, what are you implying? Everyone’s happy, yet you’re out there being a cold blanket,” Auroraquestioned.

“I’m not trying to rain on Vicky’s parade. I just think you guys are getting ahead of yourselves. gettingengaged? Think about how awkward it’ll be for Harvey. We should leave some room for that possibility.”

Aurora retorted, “You pessimist! What nonsense are you spewing? Why can’t Vicky get engaged?”

Stoneford City. According to your theory, Vicky got engaged to Harvey to escape Tyler’s pursuit. Doyou think Tyler can just watch Vicky get engaged to someone else?”

“Why not? That scoundrel would rather accept being cheated on than cancel the engagement. Maybehe would be excited about Vicky’s engagement and even replace it thrilling.”
