Tyler glanced at Vicky and stood quietly behind her.

Aurora felt excited that Tyler was paying for all the pain, suffering, and humiliation Vicky once faced.She was determined to torture Tyler at her best effort.

Aurora called the waiter over and ordered two cups of coffee. Tyler, who had been silent all this time,spoke, “Don’t drink too much coffee. It’s not good for the baby.”

Aurora furrowed her brow. ‘Vicky, do all bodyguardstalk so much?”

Regardless, Aurora replaced Vicky’s coffee with juice.

The coffee shop was not crowded, but Tyler’s tall and graceful figure-coupled with his regal aura-instantly drew everyone’s attention. Many young girls blushed just from glancing at him.

Being the center of attention made Vicky feel uncomfortable, and she looked up at Tyler. “You shouldsit elsewhere.”

Fully embracing his role, Tyler cooperated willingly. He chose a seat that was not too close to Vicky butallowed him to intervene if something happened.

Seeing Tyler take his seat, Aurora could not help but whisper to Vicky, “Vicky, what is Tyler up to?”

Vicky explained the agreement she reached with Tyler in a hushed voice.

Aurora’s eyes widened in surprise. “He agreed to that?”

He wants to keep this child, so there’s no reason for him to refuse,” Vicky replied as she took a sip ofher juice.

Aurora picked up on the underlying message in Vicky’s words. “Vicky, do you think his obsession withyou has shifted to the child?”

Vicky recalled Tyler’s terrifying expression when he barged into the operating room and nodded softly.“He’s always been quite obsessed with the idea of having a child since…” Vicky paused, skipping overthat topic. “He’s promised me that after I give birth, he won’t bother me anymore.”

Aurora found it difficult to believe that Tyler was being cooperative.

“Vicky, just take what he says with a grain of salt. Don’t trust him too much,” Aurora cautioned quietly.

Vicky’s brow furrowed. “Do you think he’s lying to me?”

Aurora continued in a hushed tone, “I don’t know if he’s lying to you, but think about it. This child will bewith you for ten months. After you give birth, can you really bear to give him up? If Tyler wants toreconcile with you, you’ll replace it hard to refuse if he uses the baby as an excuse, even if all he asks is foryou to breastfeed the baby. With every passing day, you’ll become more attached. In the end, he’llhave you under his thumb again.”

Aurora sneered at Tyler’s cunningness. “Now that you’re

pregnant, he won’t dare to harm you, upset you, or do anything to you. Make the most of this time totorment him, and take revenge for all the humiliation he’s caused you. Make things difficult for him, anddon’t let him off lightly!”

Aurora did not believe that Vicky would gain her freedom after the child was born. Instead, she thoughtit would just give Tyler another reason to keep Vicky close.

Vicky was taken aback for a moment.

Seeing Vicky’s thoughtful expression, Aurora knew what she was thinking. “Vicky, haven’t you noticed?Whether it was the wedding or his plans after the wedding, the intention of letting you go has nevercrossed his mind. Now, with the child, you’ll have another bond between you, and he’ll have even morereason to cling to you.” She remembered something Noah had said to her and whispered, “In otherwords, his previous reason for pursuing you was hatred.

Now, it’s the child.”

She gazed into Vicky’s eyes and continued, “He had no excuse but his hatred for you to keep comingback for you. Without a reason to see you, you’ll be strangers from now on. Of course, he probably stillholds some grudge against you in his heart, or he wouldn’t have done such extreme things.”
